What was your biggest surprise this season?

Winning 6 games after November 1st, when our M.O during the Mario era has been to fade once November hits (for reference in 2022-2024 we were 4-10 in the months of Nov/Dec). The 6 games haven't been creampuffs either with 4 8+ win teams, 4 true road games or netural sites (and 5/6 being double digit wins).

The quick turn around with the secondary even with the portal players. To go from blown assignment after assignment last season to where we are now is pretty amazing

It’s got to be the overall fundamentally sound way our defense plays. There’s been countless times this year that some running back caught a dump off pass in the flat that would always go for 20 yards against us in the past and we had someone there to tackle him for a minimal gain. Or a quarterback broke out of the pocket and I would expect him to break a huge run but there was almost always a defender in position to make a play. I don’t think we’ve ever been as fundamentally sound on defense as we are this year. We’re almost always in the right spot.

Mario. Has fully maxed out the potential of the team

Toney. I was already super high on him but Wr room was a big if to me and he stepped in as a high school senior and carried. Big salute to dawson for adjusting mid season as well

Mesidor becoming all American level
