Just how much better this team on got down the stretch. Before the season, there a a running joke about Cristobal's coaching record in November. Not only did this team change thag, they seem to e getting better and better each game.

marion has been one of the most sure handed receivers not named Restrepo or Toney that we've had in years and CJ Daniels is the definition of clutch - CJ a big reason we won 2 nights ago and against ND

The defense. I expected an improvement but ****, I love watching this defense smother opponents. The way they swarm to the ball, the aggression. Just such an improvement.

Safety play and Scott at nickel. Scott and Thomas have been amazing at creating turnover and Poyser is just a missile. Everytime he hits someone I don’t know if he is gonna hurt the guy he hit or himself.

Even as someone who predicted 11 wins prior to the season, there is zero f'in chance on earth I thought I'd watch a defense this good with one of the best DB seasons I've seen in longer than I can remember. Maybe 20-21 years?

Mario making adjustments and breaking away from his stubbornness. Kudos to his growth as a head coach.

Defensive backfield as a whole, but most notably safety play. Poyser was consistent and solid. Only gave up 1 big play that i can remember. Thomas is an ELITE college safety. Fitzgerald being able to come in on obvious pass situations and not only not miss a beat but impact games with his ballhawking ability.

the dl was awesome. the linebackers stepped up. the corners played real well and Scott elite. our ol strength of the team. running back room looked good. mali would be a super close 2nd on biggest surprise....


but i didnt expect this type of play from the safetys.

Also, one other surprise is that people keep spelling Hetherman’s name with an “a”.
