What was the first Miami game you remember?

-It’s tough but best memory is comeback against Michigan in the 1980s.

-Before that, I do have brief memories of Shakespeare and Eddie Brown, though, but not full games.

-I remember my little brother calling Cortez Kennedy ‘blub blub’ as a nickname

-was a huge fan of Tiger Clark

-I remember how awful the 92 sugar bowl was

-so many earlier memories

-wide right games were incredible

Started following Miami back in 2000 when I was 8. Didn't have cable and they were always on tv (CBS). Just fell in love with them right then and there.

Beating #1 Psu in 1981. It was the second time Jim Kelly beat Penn State after Paterno tried to recruit him as a linebacker out of HS.

I kind of wish the internet was around back then.

The first time I really paid attention and was old enough to rub it in to friends was the 1985 drubbing of Notre Dame, 58-7. I remember cutting out the story from SI and taping it to my closet door in Columbus, Ohio.

First UM game I attended was against Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1988. I was a freshman at Ohio U and we drove up from Athens. I was a was a quasi-Canes fan at the beginning of the game and left a total fanatic. Gave up loyalties to any other team and never looked back.
