what should we do on offense vs. clemson?

Just joking but it won't be pretty, GT is very bad and Clemson is very good.
lol got ya. yeah my gut and brain are screaming it's not gonna go great, but i still have some hopium that we put up a good fight and if we catch some breaks maybe we even win.

basically my expectations are:

1. the kids fight to the end
2. the coaches don't do a repeat of the Tamu - play not to lose by a lot - gameplan

I doubt we score more than 7 on Clemson. Probably looking at a 41-7 loss. My guess is a lot of designed runs with some kick short yard passes.

Is cheating an option? Lots of rub routes to try get Young open, dive at their knees like Paul Johnsons GT teams liked to do. Have an offensive player catch covid and sneeze on their best defender, then tell the refs the player needs to be quarantined.

Kam is going to have to score as many pick 6's as he had INTs last game for us to have a shot lol.
Yep, we are going to need Clemson to have 4-5 turnovers and Canes have 0 turnovers to have a shot.

And until GT's 3rd turnover yesterday, when was the last time our offense converted a turnover into points?

Fake Miami fans in this thread…SMH
C'mon man. Everybody is joking in this thread with a handful of serious replies. Are you looking for orange and green glasses and homer answers? I think this team has beaten that out of most fans this season. Nothing left but to be realistic.

The offense is and has been terrible this season. The offense scored the most points against P5 competition all year and that was 28 points against a team that has been so bad they fired their head coach. Throw in the fact that we are about to face one of the best defenses we have faced all season, and what do you expect?

I think Gattis will call his type of game (with Mario‘s blessing) - Slow the tempo down and try to minimize number of possessions for both sides. FGs will be wins. Lots of shallow crossing routes and short flat routes, either for short completions or to open running lanes for QB runs.

They will hope to get same defensive play as this week. And that CAN happen if WB plays like he did this weekend and secondary play is similar to this week, even without INTS (PDs).
If we don't push the ball down the field, Clemson is going to destroy everything within 5 yards of the LOS. High school football doesn't beat Clemson. As for slowing the game down, it won't matter if we're going three and out 75% of the time.

Our D is going to have to play WAY over their heads to keep us in it, or we're looking at a drubbing.
