What did Willis do wrong

Has anybody ever been on the do not draft list before?

La’el Collins out of LSU was projected to be a top 15 pick as an OT and wasnt drafted.

Also Shawn Oakman out of Baylor was a 1st round pick that went undrafted bc the MeToo movement is full of liars.

Let's start the countdown until 7th Round Mismanagement starts trying to spread a narrative that Rick badmouthed him to NFL teams.

He’ll come up with some excuse, probably like you said, he’ll likely throw somebody under the bus, like Rick. There’s lots to criticize about Rick in terms of his offense, but he’s never been known as a guy that didn’t support his players. Everything that came out of out of his mouth about Willis was positive. Everything.

So Mark Richt of all people was cool with giving Willis a shot after whatever happened happened, but the NFL isn't? Something doesn't smell right.

Think it's pretty obvious what happened at this point - he wasn't prepared for the combine. More specifically, they probably caught him on the interviews regarding his "incident" punching Winston as well as taking the 2017 season off.

Again, you've had multiple guys who've had domestic violence issues still get drafted in day 1/day 2. And we haven't even heard of Willis having issues in that department since no one knows the issues on why he took off 2017.

I have to say this is by far the strangest draft situation I've ever seen. We've seen other really talented players go through this like La'el Collins who was being suspected of murder, then subsequently cleared after the draft. But you understood the situation why team's didn't want to draft him at the time.

F- - k bad mouth. Gotta be a way more serious matter for teams to pass up steal (7th round for at worse 2-3 round talent history of the NFL draft

Wow just checking in and can’t believe GWIII hasn’t been drafted yet. I’m praying Jacksonville notices and jumps on him first in UDFA

Then your agent works and works and works.
Prepares you for workouts and interviews. Gets ahead of the situation. Gets an image consultant.
Does damage control.
The question is, why did he hire a rookie agent? Couldn't he get somebody with more experience? Was he turned down by other agents who might have handled his situation better?

Probably Willis' most defining mistake in this process. He needed more experience at the position. I can't remember someone of Willis' talent not getting drafted.
