Rivals article posted his stats...

Last season, 36 of his 75 kickoffs were touchbacks and he averaged 41.8 yards per punt with six going 50-plus yards.

In 2011, he averaged 43.8 yards per punt and put 26 of 63 tries inside the opponent's 20-yard line. 17 of his attempts went 50 or more yards that year.

Stupid Punter got me excited for no reason.

When we're in a close game this year against FSU or UF, and we're pinned with our ****s up our *** on our own goal line, and we need someone to stand tall, look down the barrel of a gun, and deliver a precision shot to help pull us out of the ****, you'll look up at Pat O'Donnel and ask him for help. He'll look down at you and say "NO."

O'Donnell nutted one last season, I believe in their bowl game, from their own like 6 yard line and it was downed at the opposing teams like 1 or 2 yard line. Almost all air too. Kid has a f'ing howitzer for a leg!

That was the Duke punter who did that, against Cincy for 79 yards.

But at Cincinnati, fans knew that their punters were game changers. O’Donnell specifically was critical to the Bearcats winning football games. His ability to not only flip the field but pin offenses deep in their own territory cannot be emphasized enough. O’Donnell’s leg forced opposing teams to continuously drive 70 – 80 yards on Cincinnati’s defense. That is huge over the course of a game and markedly lowered UC’s opponents’ opportunities to score points. So in that sense, O’Donnell was as key a member of the Bearcats’ defense as he was the special teams unit. And that is why he will be missed so much.

Solid pickup IMO.

Some people are acting spoiled because we've had some really good punters lately.

Some forget what its like to have a ****** one.

Excellent pickup.
