Even UGA fans are too ignorant to realize had a playoff been in place in year 2 of Richt there, he would have gotten them to the playoff just like Kirby.
First, I don't give a chit about UGA fans.
Second, not sure if this part of the post above is serious or a serious attempt to defend Richt. If it is a serious attempt to defend Richt, even if true, that happened _____ years ago. The guy last won the SEC in 2005 which was _____ years ago.
Third, if a coach did a lot in the beginning of their tenure but didn't do nearly as much recently (see below); how is that a good defense of their track record? Just dismiss all of the NOW because _____ years ago he might have made the playoffs if one existed.
It seems that Richt's tenure can be summed up as two different tenures:
First 7 Years:
- Wins Per Season: 10.3
- Conference Wins: 5.7
- Conference Titles: 2
- Top 10 AP Finishes: 5
- BCS Games: 3
Last 8 Years:
- Wins Per Season: 9.1
- Conference Wins: 5.4
- Conference Titles: 0
- Top 10 AP Finishes: 2
- BCS Games: 0
Miami is coming off probation with 73 scholarship players.
People are still talking about the cloud, wow.
