We are Mark Richt’s Georgia

Giving Richt a chance to get a LEGIT option @ QB 1st,...which will be this year.

Jalen Hurts is not very good. But, Saban asks him to do two things...go through progressions and don't **** up. Keeps things generally simple for the guy, even if hes started for two years since he was a true freshman.

Its not about having a LEGIT option at QB. Georgia is starting a true freshman that started the year as a backup. Its about putting that QB in a position to succeed, even if there are limitations.

This is very low on what we need to do to be elite...but it was a real problem this year...the relationship between Rosier and Richt and what Richt expected of and asked of Rosier.

Again let’s see if Rick learned from Georgia. Belichick got fired from Thw Cleveland Browns how is he doing lately? Not comparing Rick to Belichick just sometimes you need the get the ax to look in the mirror.

Some of you may remember Butch fired his DC Bill Miller (in 1999 I think) and brought in as Schiano the rest was then history. I’m not saying to fire everyone now but people need to be on notice that the play want acceptable.

I don’t know if this staff is cerebral enough to take it to the next level. We will see.

Amazing comments, which revealed majority really does not know football in my opinion! I am from south Florida, and most of the time I can be bias too about our special bread of talented young men. CMR and the coach staff have completely changed the football culture of the team, and especially the community's interest. As a season ticket holder over the past 8 years, I have noticed an upgrade in quality of performance on game day. Nevertheless, coaching and talent produces a winning formula.

Coaches must have something to work with to produce a national championship. Saban did not win at MSU, but recognized the talent in the south. Myers won at other universities, but did not win until he got to Florida. Yes, he has moved on to OSU, but places heavy emphasis in recruiting the south at OSU. Schelly put a fence around south Florida, and the big time programs thought they were still dominate against Canes. ND never called Canes players criminals when they used to blow us out by 40+! Jimmy Johnson cleared his bench, and the Iris fans and media (NCAA) still have an issue with that "beat down".

Richt and staff will have an opportunity to improve, but the players must come or stay home. For example, John Wooten and Dean Smith are considered great basketball coaches, but look at their respective rosters compared to the other teams. Bobby Knight could not win when he left Indiana! The coach at Michigan was tapped as the savior, but now everyone knows he inherited a team built by Mike Singletary in San Fran. Georgia coaching staff was blessed by an injury, which caused the best QB on the team to lead them to the NC. No way Eason leads Georgia the way this young freshman QB has done. Coaches cannot teach leadership! Cam at Auburn; Tebow at UF; Vince Young at Texas; or the ultimate Tom Brady!

The bottom line, CMR never had that special QB at Georgia....like he experienced with Ward and Winky at FSU!

Georgia will cause Saban to retire, because he is not loading up on the peach state. Saban will have a very difficult time getting the elite players in Florida: FSU, UF, UCF, USF, and Canes have quality coaching staffs and recruiters. Furthermore, Clemson will get their select elite players too.

We will be the fifth to eighth best team every year. If you’re ok with that go Fack yourself.

I'm not good with it.

Who should be our next coach?

I wish I could make those decisions.

So, no options?

I would have ****ed with Mullen over Golden at the time and would have flirted with PJ Fleck and Frost two years ago. I don’t make the calls. I support my team and Richt is who he is. I’m also not calling for his head. If he remains the play caller we have peaked.

We're on the same page here.
He needs a good QB, granted, but
I'm just looking for some offensive flexibility.
Even Saban was receptive to a little philosophy change, offensively.

I'm in agreement with you, but when yoyu have 4-5 star battering rams at the RB position, as Saban does, it helps to keep it simple.
Chubb and Sony over at UGA are pretty good too.

A average QB and we win that game. So, blame him for not having a average QB maybe?

Folden would have been 4-8 with this team, at best. I know thats no standard, but still.
