The only one who shouldnt start is probably linder. Dude is too small and weak. Gall hasnt been that bad at center since linder got hurt.

K.C. got destroyed most of Saturday and had like 4 penalties. Unfortunately I think Darling is the best we have there unless, somehow St. Louis can take over at left tackle next year.

Darling is probably the best option we have at LT right now. McDermott was originally inside for a reason.

The biggest mistake we made was not offering Darling's bookend at Central, Reggie Bain. I asked one of the recruiting staffers about Bain and he told me Golden didn't like him. We ended up signing Joe Brown and Tyler Grimsley late.

Bain ended up making first-team freshman AA at LT and was preseason all-conference this year before breaking his hip in an accident. If healthy, he probably would have held down our LT job.

He's been a poor fit at LT since the beginning of people arguing this early in his career, but doesn't mean he's not the best we have to offer there right now. Let's pray something changes with the situation between now and August 2017.

St. Louis is our best option at LT next season as of now. His play has improved dramatically since the ND game imo.

Tackle:

St. Louis
Donaldson
Brown
Johnson
Hillery
Dysktra

Interior:

McDermott
Darling
Gauthier
Linder
Milo
Jones
Mahoney

Gone from 2016: isidora, gall, odogwu, loftus, knighton

/let me go update my lsit

Odogwu will be back and he has talent, he just has a bad knee I think

Just curious, why do you think Sonny is gone? Too many injuries? Or did I miss something?

The writing is on the wall with Sonny imo. There were reports of the coaching staff easing his workload because they felt he was injury prone. Then he goes and breaks his ankle. After missing the spring with a torn MCL. He's been here for four years and would obviously be welcomed back because he's not bad but I think he's through here.

My guess who starts at tackles next year

Baffles me how well Linder played as a freshman. Gotta be more to it than just "small and weak"

He was sandwiched among 3 guys who are currently in the NFL. Harder to hide his deficiencies now when he's playing center. He missed all of spring with the shoulder so I'd assume that hasn't helped but I like what I've seen from Gauthier so I'd hope he would be given a shot there.

I agree. Linder got his **** pushed in. He is too small and weak. We need power lifting buttball who will hold his ground. McDermit also got abused alot. He is still not a massive person. The guy coming in from Central is a best at 330 lbs of mass and bestiality.

So, and I'm being serious here, are there any OL who don't suck? I feel like even the guys I thought were good before are now liabilities.
