It’s kinda hard to argue with the list if you only are allowed 4 players. Honestly Miami has had some DUDES, so to name only 4 and your top 4 might be different from everyone.
In UMs storied Heydays...you simply cannot narrow a Top 4 list ever....impossible....too many incredible players at different positions to come to a Top 4....You know your school has been Sick Deep in talent throughout the yrs to leave Ed off of any list....I will say this.....for a Top 5 to be without Hendricks and Jerome is Ludicrous....
A lot depends on if you’re basing solely off their time at UM or their football careers in general or if you’re picking the best players or the most iconic.
If it’s only UM, there’s definitely an argument for someone like Dan Morgan over Ray, but based on whole football career, it’s not close.
Hendricks, Otto, Lewis, Irvin, Reed, Brown, Taylor... geez it is hard to pick the best of the best when they are all that high up the list of All-time greats.
