Wait, what?

What a minute, isn't this kid Muslim? He can't be punished. Scream profiling, call the ***** House, I mean White House and get this kid on the field. Wait, let's think this through: a black, Muslim kid in trouble at left wing university with eastern liberal elitist president, hum? Can't be a woman he hit, Muslims get away with that on religious grounds. Sure can't be a white Christian redneck, he would have been given a Chair in the religious tolerance school. Oh crap, this kid didn't hit a *** dude, did he? He is frigging toast then.

Did you really make this stupid comment? Wow, everything is a liberal, Muslim conspiracy. Seek help. You've got issues.

If the student council knows what is best for the school they should throw this incident under the rug and let the kid play

Stop with this garbage. I don't care if it's Duke Johnson that commits the infraction. Football players are not above any other student.

Jesus Christ. It is an ongoing situation. Lawyers are involved. Would be stupid to play him without a clear idea of how it all ends.

Criticism here is just stupid. But I expect nothing less from this fan base.

Anything goes as long as it's anti-UM. We've got a dude ripping the school for not spending the $60 million in "profit" that we make on a new stadium. People rip Blake for scheduling FIU. Golden should man up and play AQM, even though no one here knows the details.

Good Lord, I want Golden out of here too, but can you people think before you put something in writing next to your name?

What is the down side of playing a guy not involved in an ncaa investigation and not charged with a crime?

Since you know all the details, please let us in, because no one else here knows.

I responded to a guy who seems to be dialed in, and I asked him a specific question.

Do you not trust Al now? Al said it was his decision not to play AQM. He's said it a couple times. If it was an ncaa or university suspension do you think AQM would have dressed out for both games? He even traveled to Louisville.

The point is that there is obviously something going on that we don't know about. This isn't your run-of-the-mill minor incident where a kid gets in a little trouble and maybe sits out a half. With the talk of lawyers and the weird way that he is showing up and not playing, something is strange about the situation. It's just kind of silly to scream at people without knowing the truth.

Wait. We're waiting for a student council to decide the fate of one our best defensive players?

Is this really happening?

Yeah, well, you see AQM is a STUDENT and is part of the UNIVERSITY. The football program is not a separate entity, and if there were infractions as a STUDENT, then the student council discipline board or whatever method they use applies. If people want professional sports and players that aren't bound by university rules, then stop following college ball and go pick your favorite NFL team to root for.

Now you're pretending to know details. And I'm not screaming at anyone. I've heard people puppet the line that there are implications if we play him. I want to know what those implications are.

How many times does this have to be said? There are very good reasons to choose not to play him right now. It's the smart call. What if he gets suspended from school for the rest of the semester? You'd lose an entire year of eligibility. I know the staff is frustrated. It sucks.

So maybe he sits the year not to waste eligibility, but then ends up transferring next season anyway.

Is Al on the student council because Al has said a couple times publicly that it's his decision not to play AQM?

It appears there must be some repercussion to playing him if the outcome of the student council or other university action turns out a particular way.

SOunds to me like someone needs to visit council members in the middle of the night to make sure they aren't taking themselves a little too seriously.

Fvck the student council. They might as well be Tad Foote at this point.

You called? Hey now! Michael Irvin ran over a kid outside of the cafeteria on my watch and he still played.

The trip down memory lane aside, ***** this former roommate. The guy had the chance to press charges and either declined or the police weren't involved or didn't see it fit to do so. Now you see the term "lawyers involved". Someone looks like a disgruntled ***** now looking for some cash and/or revenge. This very well could be a decision coming from above Alfred's head until the school's lawyers can determine any potential university liability in a possible civil case by this sissy. We all know how sensitive they are about perception on that campus too.

No, they have a job to do, and they should do it right. Football player or chess club nerd, the rules for students should apply equally.

Jameis rapes a girl (allegedly) and plays to win the Heisman and National Championship. AQM beats up a roommate (allegedly) and he can't play because roleplaying student government might tag him with a violation of the code of conduct?

So me saying "there is obviously something going on that we don't know about" and "something is strange" is the same as me pretending to know details. When the whole point of my post was that none of us know the details.

Strong work. Keep arguing over nothing.
