What's the "very good reason"? If he hit a kid that's not an ncaa issue that will lead to sanctions or eligibility issues. And if we believe Al, it's not even a university issue or decision.

Who sits a player out when an investigation hasn't been completed yet? What if he was defending himself and it turns out he did nothing wrong, then Golden sat him out for no reason. Play the kid and when the investigation is complete handle it then.

Don't fool yourself, everything Golden does has ulterior motives behind it, this is to show how tough he is on any transgressions.

Sure. Why not? If he could choose to play him but instead is holding him out pending a decision by the Student Council, is he not still making the call to hold him out?
