I still like Butch. Period. Knows more about football than our whole staff put together. Things are rarely all the fault of one side when there's a bad break.

I don't think him coming back would ever happen, but I sure as **** wouldn't complain if he did.

Cleared of scandal @ unc and everybody knows it. Furthermore nobody on this board would've accepted the lack of respect shown to Davis given the product on the field either. Like I always say, just tell me you don't want our current Canes playing like his once he got it going and I'll never mention his name again............... I calculate I'll be speaking of him again.

Yes, he has a letter clearing him. Nice. Was still fired. Was still barely a .500 coach at UNC.

And yes, he should have been rehired over Shannon, Golden, and Richt. I was in favor of it.

His legacy is ‘what could have been’, had he chosen differently.

Yall really think schools are gonna let a story go public that makes them look bad...

For you younger guys Butch left UM because the administration screwed him over with a pending contract that took too many months to offer without a respectable offer.
