Haven't watched Cuse much but I bet their OL is better than ours. The recruiting there has been **** for years. We need those Heritage boys in this class.

It's ******* play design/concepts/blocking schemes. Richt has his **** tracks all over this ****. A competent O-coord can mask a bad O-line all day/every day.

That's the scary thing. This offense is so bad - I'd love to see a view from above of our play designs, because every time they showed a replay or cut to a commercial break (where you could actually see downfield) not a single WR was open or even running through the middle of the field.

If our line is so bad and Kaaya sacks himself, why not game plan around that? Where are the short hitch routes, crossing patterns, quick toss plays, etc...?

Why is Richrt setting Kaaya up to fail?
 
Ok. Even if we accept the notion that our OL talent, despite containing a few 4 stars and even one 5 star, is worse than Liberty, Tennessee, Boston College, UNC, ECU, and Syracuse, the dudes who played for VT tonight against us only had 7 sacks total against those 6 teams.

Is our material THAT MUCH WORSE than those 6 teams? VT had more sacks against us than they had against all those teams combined.

Richt is out of bullets. He's throwing **** at a dart board now. The deep verts stuff while the defense is sending 6 is dan werneresque

We gave up 19 sacks on the season last year in 13 games putting us at 34rd in the country. That was with Al Gall playing all year. This year, we've already given up 15 sacks.

Same guys minus Gall.

What gives?

It's Richt. Our talent isn't this bad. We should probably be 6-1 or 5-2 at worst. Instead we're 4-3 and going to ND and then playing a tough Pitt team that will likely beat our ***.

Fvck me - Richt said he was rusty in the off season. Understatement of the century.

He's rusty running an archaic offense with no creative play design.

Wish we would've hired Fuentes or Butch in hindsight (Herman wasn't realistic option imo)

I can't even battle those stats. Last year scheme fits this team better.
 
To be fair the stats are skewed by giving up 9 tonight. This OL was awfulast year and its still awful. Still no true tackles on the team. Some of these kids have no business at Miami. This one game skews the stats making them look better last year when they arent. Same ****** OL that just played a better VT unit than it played last year. We have watched Bud Foster do this for years and after a few down years now he is back to kicking our *** and went for the kill against this this trash OL Miami is trotting out there.

MR keeps trying to throw long on many 3rd and shorts into a defense that is looking for the long ball.....and the other teams rush 4 maybe 5 or more --dead end for sure.

Problem is Pud Foster ain't **** anymore, and Vag Tech was 83rd in the country in sacks coming into our game. And that included 5 of their 12 sacks from Ekanem, who didn't even play against us.

LULZ at Vag Tech being characterized as some sort of savage defense.
