VA "Not Concerned about Gaudy Turnover Chain" LB Zane Zandler

It can definitely be both idk why that is so hard understand. Serious fans like the turnover itself obviously that is the important part for the actual game, but the chain gives it some theater and jacks up the crowd more. My girl snaps every single sideline chain ceremony and doesn't give two chits about the turnovers themselves so take that for what it's worth.

Agree, the turnover AND the TO Chain are mutually effective in both the change in momentum in the game and how much it energizes the team AND the crowd. The team goes to a completely different level than it probably would if it was just a high 5 after a turnover. The kids start believing more, the fans start believing more, and the opposition tries to do anything it takes not to see the TO Chain and the way it’s celebrated not only in the stands and the sideline but also nationally with the media and on ESPN. No way just a simple turnover would galvanize the team more so than a turnover AND the TO Chain

Yes. It's biblical. You diss the chain, you turn into a pillar of salt.
