Sounds like your familiar with drag shows...Zane Zandier sounds like the name of a drag queen that does a trick with a gerbil during "her" performance to Mariah Carey's greatest hits.
Yeah, it’s too bad our championship teams didn’t have it. Players make plays, not chains. You can cry next year when it’s gone.
I think ThomasM's point is valid that the fans are being depicted as people who just want to see the chain on television which i agree is a stupid way to depict what is going on by the announcers.
And once it actually comes out..... Nail in coffin. The chain is friggin' ingenious. Not only does it motivate our guys, it gets the whole stadium pumped up when the recipient of the chain stands on the bench and waves to the crowd. It's like celebrating a touchdown. Yes, the crowd is really excited about the score but the celebration adds so much fun to the play. Now, not only do our players and fans love the chain, the national media does too. Miami is getting a guaranteed high light on ESPN even against some bum team like Virginia because they want to show that clip of a player getting a pick and getting the chain draped over his shoulders.
Possibly the best thing about the chain is how it seems to always be on opponents's minds. They see it, they hate it, they will do anything to avoid having it come out and rubbed in their faces. Teams that over stress about turnovers play too tight and often too conservative. So, keep the turnover chain in your heads and in your mouths, Virginia.
Remember that clip of the ND coach talking to the offense about Miami, he specifically calls out the chain. It's in their heads. And once it actually comes out..... Nail in coffin.
You're a fool. The announcers spend half their time talking about the fans wanting to see the chain. Man, I want to see turnovers. Don't be so **** sensitive. You and him both are idiots bc no one is being depcited that way.
Go root for Miami of Ohio.
The thing I like the most about the TO chain is that it is pure Miami and a new tradition that is exclusive to Miami. Other teams copy it but it could never ever be duplicated. We are the only ones who do it right.
We can't really say that about too many other things. For instance the putting up the 4 fingers in the 4th quarter is a tradition I love but we were not the first to do it.
I hope we always have the TO chain and years down the line it gets bigger, flashier and gaudier.
You're a fool. The announcers spend half their time talking about the fans wanting to see the chain. Man, I want to see turnovers. Don't be so **** sensitive.
So, a turnover now means more than a turnover in 2001?My guy it’s not that difficult.
The chain is a symbol of chaos.
Fans want to see the chain because that means we just created a turnover. It’s energy that feeds back into itself.
For ***** sake.
So, a turnover now means more than a turnover in 2001?
Listen, I like the chain, I just don't think it's the reason for the celebration, like the talking heads say. They make it sound like the turnovers wouldn't happen without the chain, and that everyone just wants to see the chain. No, we want to see turnovers.
You're a fool. The announcers spend half their time talking about the fans wanting to see the chain. Man, I want to see turnovers. Don't be so **** sensitive.
Grow a pair and do something about it.Man go die already.....
