V TECH SCORE PREDICTION

I actually think VT is exactly what Kaaya needs to get back on track. We should see a bunch of blitzes and man coverage. He's just got to get the ball to the right place and guy, and those guys have to make plays with the ball.

Even though the O-line dominated VT a few years back, I just don't think that's the game plan to use against them.

Hopefully, we're aggressive with the pass from the jump. Once we get some separation on the scoreboard, then we can salt the game by running.

We're going to need the defense and/or special teams to score or set us up nicely. If so, we win by 4. If not, we lose by 3.

I think our offense actually shows up this week, but our injuries on defense will cost us the W.

35-31 VT

I hate to have to accept reality but We are going to lose bc Brad Kaaya is our starting qb

If we throw the same game at them as we did up there in 2014, it won't matter.
Can Duke suit up one more time?

It being a rivalry game on the road against a good team, is the main reason i cant see us winning. But also they have a better offense then in 2014. On defense it seems like their weakness is the deepball but Kaaya barely takes chances deep and when he does its more likely an overthrown ball instead of a completion.

Therein lies my frustration.
Their "new' offense looks pretty good. Our "new" offense hasn't quite caught on yet.

Although susceptible to the big play, our D will be more disruptive than any VT has played
and can throw that new offense off a bit. They've shown they will turn it over.

On offense, who knows. Yes, they do give up big plays as well because of their aggressive D.
All it takes is to hit 1 or 2 when the opportunity arises.

In between i think it will be a field position game. Badgley better rest up that leg. I see a lot of FG's.

Lol at the twats in here downvoting people for picking Miami to lose. Probably the same guys who thought Golden needed "another year to recruit kids for his system". Pffff.

27 - 13 Gobblers.

27-17 Canes. I have a similar feeling this year as I had in 2014 - not at all confident, which means they will end up surprising me with a sound performance.
