You forgot Scott Patchan... lol
I'm always interested to see where Miami transfers ended up and how they're doing.

In case anyone else is interested, here's a list of the ones I could find (I'm sure I missed some)

Bubba Baxa - Houston
Nigel Bethel - Colorado
Robert Burns - UConn
Realus George - Missouri (now a 280 lb. DL)
Marquez Ezzard - GT
Brian Hightower - Illinois
DJ Johnson - Oregon
Patrick Joyner - Utah St
Lorenzo Lingard - Florida
Tate Martell - UNLV
Asa Martin - Memphis
Evidence Njoku - Nevada
N'Kosi Perry - FAU
Derrick Smith - Illinois
Christian Williams - USF
Jarren Williams - USF

Cam Williams (DE) end up anywhere?

Chaminade guys have had some serious academic issues lately. Huff had to take a Academic RS, Williams failed out, that WR went to PSU reportedly had some academic issues before leaving PSU

Oh man - totally forgot about Patchan. I updated the list. Patchan was part of the 2015 class, same class as Jaquan Johnson. That feels sooooo long ago

Patchan was actually on the All Mountain West 1st team last year and voted 1st team Pre-Season this year. Hope he can stay healthy and have a big year

Asa Martin doesn’t count imo

Tyreic Martin DT went to Alcorn State
School opted out last year due to covid, don’t know where he stand on the depth chart but Alcorn State are a SWAC powerhouse.

Brian Polendey TE went to Colorado State
He’s a blocking TE, always was, even when we signed him…

Also, friend who does a USF podcast says Christian Williams is the best defensive player on the team. Jarren apparently with same issues, great arm talent but holds onto the ball.
Christian Williams is the one transfer I never understood. He would be in line for significant playing time this year had he stayed. It has been said that his desire to leave the program was because he didn't like or fit Bakers heavy zone scheme. Can't say that I blame him. There was a reason why we couldn't recruit good CBs to save our life then now all of a sudden we are in position to potentially land the best CB class ever at Miami. Coaching matters.

Bad evaluations. So many dropped to the G5 level so they could play.

They also dropped to G5 b/c P5 schools r filled up. Unless U’re really, really good, for every success story of a kid latching on to a top notch program, u have roughly 3 out of 5 kids stepping down in competition b/c they have no choice. Then u have another group who try to chase greener grass, and they never play another down. That’s across the board.
