(Update on Recent) Miami Transfers

I never understood the Burns situation. Every time he played last year he looked good and many of us thought he should have been used in short yardage situations. I’m happy for Burns if he’s getting a real opportunity at UConn but I always thought we could have done more with him. He’s a battering ram

Feagles went to Rutgers and Weldon to East Tennessee State.none of them play this year.

Jovani Haskins is at Rutgers. He went from Miami to West Virginia and now Rutgers, didn’t do much

Bad evaluations. So many dropped to the G5 level so they could play.

I agree with the bad eval part but most transfers go G5 because they have schloarships readily available.

He was at best going to be 4th on the depth chart this season. Most teams use at least two running backs but nobody plays four unless there’s injuries. I don’t blame him for wanting to actually play somewhere.

Also, friend who does a USF podcast says Christian Williams is the best defensive player on the team. Jarren apparently with same issues, great arm talent but holds onto the ball.

He was super productive in just 4 games at CSU last year.

Christian Williams would be in top 4 this year with Blades coming back from Covid stuff.

DJ was bad eval, missed on DE there, Patchan transfers, and Greg R opts out and enters early, Phillips enters draft early, missed on local DE target in Bogle who I think will be solid for UF this year, and now we have McCloud starting at DE.

Their senior starting rb rushed for back to back 1000 yards in 2018 and 2019. It’s not far fetched to think he might be better than Burns….
