Under 100 yards

Our regular season ends in SIX DAYS. Gattis should be fired soon.

If he isn't, Mario won't last much longer.

It really is that simple, because we will never win with that combo.

There were 5-6 plays where dudes were wide open and the QB couldn’t find them but that falls back on coaching.

At the end of the day. Gattis has zero feel for the game and doesn’t understand tempo at all. We have to be the slowest moving team. I understand they were slowing it down to keep it close but there were times we should have had faster tempo when we had momentum and we almost got back to back delay of games because of Gattis wanting the offense to check with him
Check with me is hard run when your in the booth and you wait til the last second to call the play. He’s trying to change personnel, figure out what formation he wants, see how the defense lines up, trying to call the perfect play as the clock is at 3 seconds. Either his terminology is too long or he’s not calling it fast enough. Most good play callers are 2 plays ahead of what the situation is. If your gonna be a pro style give your qb two plays and let him choose the best play or let him have the ability to audible.

Brown missed two long, walk in TDs to Restrepo and Skinner.

I want Gattis gone too, but yeah that's on the QB - he's not ready, nor did we expect him to be.
And we all knew when he missed them that the opportunity probably won’t come again. That’s on the scheme.

No matter how bad a OC is we should never have a performance like that. Thats on the players. Not saying Gattis isn't at fault but 98 yards??...you should accidentally get over 100 yards at the D1 level. Players quit
If our QB didn’t miss a WIDE open player by 5 yards - we would have had 170. LOL.

We missed other wide open plays as well.

Good players make those plays. It’s that simple.

I’m 45 years old and could have hit X - he was that WIDE OPEN.

Captain Obvious Stats:

In the 4 games since TVD last started:

228 yards, per game.
Worst in the country.
4.18 yards per play, per game.
New Mexico and UMass are giving us a run here.

Pitts defense, statistically, ranks better than Clemson’s.
That’s as of right now, which includes yesterday’s game.

Strange fact.
Our offense, before yesterday’s games, was ranked ahead of South Carolina’s.

The “it figures” moment….
The two TD’s he threw last week were both under thrown.

That was a start not unlike others vs Clemson though.
The next play we get a procedure penalty.

But a bunch of porsters on CiS sharted all over TVD this season, with some of them even proclaiming this last week that Jacurri was better than TVD and the future.

It just goes to show you how dumb a large percentage of our fanbase is.

A QB that set an ACC Conference record with 6 consecutive 300+ yds/3+ TD games, and who was on the pre-season Heisman watch list and a potential 1st round NFL draft pick all of a sudden forgot how to play the QB position?

The evidence was clear from the get go, but still many of these same porsters still sharted on TVD and demanded that he be benched or that he transfer. It goes to show how talented TVD is that even without a real OC and scheme, he still managed to throw for over 300 and 400 yards in different games this season. Yet the geniuses in our fanbase still thought as late as last week that Jacurri is a much better player.

You can’t make this up.
