The rivalry has been down nationally, but for fans and especially the older boosters they HATE losing to UM this cannot be overstated. They take the win some lose some approach with UF but not with UM. And they were just embarrassed by a 4 loss miami team.

It was not knee-jerk. FSU has raised almost $20M from private donations to buy out Willie’s contract. You don’t raise that kind of money overnight but UM smashing them in the mouth on Sat was last straw. Program has become a joke with their players completely undisciplined.

Everybody is Black online... Fam you ain't Black. You lost all credibility when you said "The Talent was there" FSU suck. Their OL is horrible hence we sacked them 9 TIMES... 9 TIMES IN ONE GAME. sit this out fake Black Man. Nobody could change that program in 1.5yrs.

Using your logic, can we assume you think all the people on here who wanted Richt gone last year are also racist(whatever that means)? (he had a better first year that willie and everyone still called for his head last year). And those frustrated with Manny this year must just be anti-semetic alt right clansmen?

We'll just have to move on, brother. You're continually missing my point entirely. I'm not talking about people being upset with him as HC and wanting him fired after he had failed to deliver at Texas. I'm talking about people important to the UT program not wanting a black man as HC and actively working to sabotage him before he ever set foot on campus. You don't think that happened? Ok, cool, I respect your opinion. I read several articles that painted an ugly picture that that's exactly what happened. I was simply posting here that I don't believe Charlie and Willie's situation were one and the same as a result. If you disagree, all good.

Yes I am sure the prospective buyout fundraisers had already started but I guarentee that yes a lot of them were now fully committed and gave the green light after this game. You don't want to spend 20 mil easily. This season is shot for them either way and letting him finish the season saves a lot of $. Its not like I dont understand firing him now though.

Rob Parker is indeed Black, but this guy isn't. Racism played a part here and it's no secret Willie was on a short lease the day he was hired. Did he do himself any justice with that Coaching staff? Nope, but if you're expecting a Man to change that **** in 1.5yrs... I have a Beach House in **** I want to sell you. It was only two games this Season Willie lost that wasn't close... Clemson and Miami. Every lost other than that was close. Their fanbase is delusional.

Problem is, the culture is rotten there. No head coach can clean it up in 1.5 years. It is so **** toxic they may not recover for a loooong time. The administration has allowed players to get away with everything shy of murder for years, and they expect discipline on the football field?

Stick a fork in them, they are done.
 
Black Players should Boycott Miami Hurricanes as well and play for HBCUs anyway. Miami is racist just like Tallahassee if you ask me. People forget Florida is the South, and after Orlando you get a rude awakening. I love Miami Hurricanes, but I love my People and our advancement more.
 
Luke just made it more expensive for FSU to get his players. This is all it is. He also saw “ohh sht so you mfers really do have money”.
He saw a business opportunity and is going to do everything to profit from it. Locket is most likely gone to so they’re going to have to go turn to sofla guys like Luke and anyone else to get the tri-county players and Luke is just sitting their waiting for the FSU bagmen to persuade him.
Wont be surprised if Coley gets a call as well as Larry Scott.
