UNC - Game 3

Amdidas needs to swing the **** bat!!! He has taken a fastball for strike 1 in every at bat. He's always hitting behind in the count. Needs to look at location and be aggressive with no count. Stop giving away strikes on good pitches to hit!!!

Agree; and then he just trys to serve it out to CF vs taking a rip.

Yes!!! His swing looks weak. His contact is really soft. Can't understand why he doesn't cut it loose? Take a rip at it early in the count.

I think Cook has earned more time on the mound. He's pitching better than Gates and it's not even close. Cook has shown very good control and maturity. Gates is a freshman and looks like it emotionally which is expected as a freshman. At times the situation looks too big for him and has walked a lot of batters.

Escala keeps swinging at high pitches that he can't do anything with. He's just getting himself out.
He should never swing at a pitch above his belt. Stay in your lane. Not a homerun hitter. Take the ball to the left and right field gaps for singles and doubles on pitches below the belt.
