UM 2021 DT Commit Savion Collins Recruiting Update

247 internal rankings(not the composite) has Taylor as the third best player in the entire class. That is how good he is. And we got people talking about Collins hurting Baker and Stroud's feelings as the reason he isn't a Cane? The guy who is deciding between a PWO offer from Florida and scholie from FIU.
People gotta stop listening to that guy. Absolutely clueless.

@Goulds Cane
Well the youngman is literally betting on himself by putting his money where his mouth is by paying his way as a UF PWO.

I can respect his self confidence, if he plays his cards right he can minimize his cost by rooming with his Palmetto teammates off campus which would eliminate his housing cost. An since WO's are allowed to be on the training table that covers his food. So Savion would only have to pay instate tuition which is roughly $7k per year.

He will be humbled and hungry an if he stays focused will probably be put on scholarship in 2 years and not be IC hit for the gators.

Go Canes

Don't even think he'll even have to pay that amount. I'm sure he'll get some grant money thrown his way so that at the end of the day, he's paying very little.

First year UiF students have to live on campus.

So, yeah...

Gaytor fans are morons. If Collins goes to UiF, they are going to blueshirt him. Recruiting has been in a year-plus dead period, so nobody has taken an official visit, and no coaches have gone on any official in-homes.

Collins will enroll at UiF and the Gaytors will put him on scholarship one day after fall camp begins. 24 ICs for 2022. No big deal.

"Preferred Walk-On". Hilarious. They let a 2-star long-snapper sign in December over Adrein Strickland, and now they are trying to convince you that they'll get a 4-star to walk-on? Hilarious.

Contrast the optimism of Ivins' headline with the actual text of the article:

"DL Savion Collins has options heading into Signing Day"

vs.

"Collins, who the industry-generated 247Sports Composite pegs as the nation's No. 23 defensive tackle prospect, has talked with coaches at FIU, Memphis and UCF at some point over the past few days according to Miami Palmetto head coach Mike Manasco."

So, the #23 ranked DT in the country...is reduced to talking with G5 schools like FIU, Memphis, and UCF...

Yeah-boy, that's some real OPTIONS right there...
