I don't give a rip what scheme you play...if you are watching this game....it is CLEARLY evident how much better the players are on defense for both of these teams. If you combined all three defenses...we would have possibly 1 player who would start in Perryman and possibly 1-2 more on the two deep AT BEST. Think about that for a second.

These teams have been stockpiling 4 and 5 star players at every defensive position for 4-5 years.

Is it scheme or is it that FACT that around 50% of the players are 5 stars guys?

It takes time...

Lets not forget, Florida' and FSU's scheme is less complex than ours, aggressive and puts its players in position to make plays. That plays a huge factor.

It's both. They're Talent and depth is better but their also not letting wr's get free releases every play and come with timely and effective blitzes.

It's all about the DL. They are a scarce commodity and those two schools have been getting the good ones.

It is UF's scheme. They play that tight press man to man and bring pressure. Their DB's are not any better than ours

I guess it has nothing to do with the exotic blitzes they're sending non-stop.

They also ask their DL to rush.

This, what cracks me up is this is basic common sense. Offense is based on timing, if you don't disrupt the timing you see what they do to our D. Lu can do a dissertation on the details, but that is the simple fact, disrupt the timing.

How do we play press man coverage with our LB and Safeties? Ever think about that genius????????? It isn't just about your corners. Do you want KC Rodgers, T Cornelius, AJ Highsmith, Gaines man up against a WR, RB, or TE? No you don't and that is why we don't do it as often. We are mismatched all over the field, especially against these spread offenses. Add in these guys in man situations with no pressure equals routessssssssssss

Both of these Defenses have straight 5 stars across the board at DB and DL. That is when you can play that style of defense.

Ok so in three years Golden has been unable to get Rodgers, Highsmith, Gaines, Armbrister, Cornelius, and Green off the field.

Bringing in talent is in his job description, this isn't his first year here. You're mad these bums play? It's his fault.

We don't have top 15 defensive talent.

However, there is no reason why we should be giving up 500 yards of offense almost every friggin game.

We don't do anything to disrupt the timing of opposing WR and TEs.

Their DBs are way better than ours right now, way better. Plus their DL is light years ahead of ours, even without Easly. They play that tight man to man because they have the horses that not only have ability but have proven themselves.

That would be correct except that he kicked off EJ and Paul before the year. While they were both good and average respectfully, they both did thigs neither 31 or 34 do. Tackle and get physical.

Exactly. People seem to have a hard time understanding a middle ground exists between top 5 defensive talent, and allowing every team you face to gain 500 yards.

how do you people not understand ncaa sanctions hurts. my friend recruited 3 kids. one went to usc and the other two south carolina because neg recruiting. he basically said fsu was the only school who didnt neg recruit us
