I don’t see him leaving the draft to come to Miami.
He’s from Tennessee and he and his family are likely not too enamored with playing here after playing at bama.
As cane fans we really don’t understamd how far our brand has fallen nor how we are perceived in the south. One playoff appearance may not be enough to change that.
You have to realize that Miami was never and option, a back up, nor a last resort by a kid who’s from the south and was recruited by Saban. It’s a dream come true. And if he is getting day one grades it would be a hail of a pull by Mario. Money or not.
Kids want to feel good about the choices they make. I just don’t see him being hyped about forgoing the draft after playing at bama to come here.
But this is the type of stuff that Mario does. So let’s see.
