Make him say no to $4M then $5M then $6M with Cocoplum house rental, private chef, chaffeur, and Ruiz can park a demo Cigarette boat out back.

Miami made $14M (plus whatever of the $9M travel money we didn't use) so far.

Make the CFP final and we pocket $20M + $12M travel.

Yeah. A roster that isn’t spending money on the top portal rentals and isn’t spending a ton to keep upperclassmen, is still competing for/winning the ACC.

We might play one Top 40 team next year in ND.

The team is going to be fine with Emory during the regular season.

It’s just not going to be a special, and won’t have a hope of being special.

So when is the next time it can be special? That will be 2027.
I wouldn’t spend a ton on players that won’t be here in 2027, just to prop a team that has a real ceiling to what it can accomplish.

We’re clearly paying a ton to retain Toney & top players. Not about to put limits on what we can be next year.

When it's all said and don he should arguably be first overall this year. This kid can do everything Mendoza can and more.

I'm the Raiders I pick this kid before Mendoza.

seems odd that the city would be a deal killer when he knows he has to live in the city in the NFL unless he plays for Grreen Bay. I think the issue of whether he is a first rounder or not is more significant.

Why aren't they talking this way about Ty Simpson? He's older, but he's even less experienced. I think Ty Simpson is a wild guess as a 1st round NFL QB in 2026.

Regarding Ty Simpson remember he is a Saban recruit and he/his family may have spoken to Saban about next moves. I wouldn't be surprised if Saban has recommended Miami to the family.

My post is meant more as a "fit" into our program. Though, I agree with you it would be impractical. I think it's also wild to take the risk on him as a 1st rounder, but here we are.
