For the mopes crying 'why us?', you're failing to acknowledge that this is literally going on at every school now. In the new age of the portal and NIL, schools are constantly tampering with players from other schools, especially during open portal windows. The only reason why you rarely hear coaches cry foul is because they're all doing the same thing themselves.

The difference between us and other programs is that our insiders choose chasing clout over keeping things private for the sake of the program and player.

NCAA needs to bring back the sit out a year after transferring rule. One of their biggest mistakes was removing that and it was pretty much for no reason.

That would end 90% of this ridiculousness and you could then give unlimited transfers, full access to team activities, full NIL opportunity etc, just cant play in games until the following year.
With the exception of if your head coach leaves for another job or is fired. Or you’re moving back home for family purposes

Miami Hurricanes quarterback Tyler Van Dyke is weighing whether to enter the transfer portal because he and his camp are “frustrated” with the total value of his NIL deals at UM and has substantial offers from other schools, Canesport reported Thursday. Two friends of Van Dyke, contacted by the Herald, did not dispute that report.

per the report, this is news to Ruiz.

I've heard ATL has some good ones. Haven't been yet. Driven past a few. Just going off of rumors for now...
Top 4 from a true connoisseur in my younger days: Vegas, Miami, Houston, Atlanta.

And before anyone complains about thread derailing, there’s an unwritten CIS rule that ****y bar derailments are allowed.

This is a lie, cant threaten credentials for doing your job. Yahoo reported Nevin Shapiro they still credentialed. You only saying this because we are black and out here grinding in a space where most don't look like us.

Haha!

CIS I can’t quit you!

Also - it’s sad that this was so easy to see coming. I know NIL was supposed to be our saving grace, but the real ones knew it wasn’t going to help us once it got up and running. We could be losing our starting QB to NIL only two years after his little BMW deal was front page news. Life happens fast

Only at Miami. Gonna go on for eternity until someone gets the idea to clean house and bring in a HC with no connection to Miami whatsoever and he fills a staff of coaches that can coach and not for "recruiting". Golden sucked but was the closest thing to this and had the most talented teams of all the guys since him that have built Miami bro staffs

Too many guys want to be friends with the kids and not coach and develop and worry about their job.
Are you saying that's what Mario wants? To be friends?
