Tuesday Recruiting Chatter - 11/27

So there's the potential we lose the following recruiting battles to Bama -

DE - Kevin Harris
DT - Braylen Ingraham
OT - Evan Neal
S - Jordan Battle
CB - Akeem Dent
DE - Khris Bogle
TE - Keon Zipperer

God I hate them

Tried telling people last year that Alabama was our biggest threat in recruiting. They poach any elite talent from our area that they want. We won't be able to beat Clemson until we start beating Bama in recruiting.

Bama can take a recruit from anybody. What sucks is SoFlo is the breeding ground for talent and they focus on us and who bring in at times so until we can challenge them like Clemson we'll lose most battles but even then we'll still lose our fair share until like hoops said the dynasty dies

Is it 100% that we will not be taking a high school QB this cycle?

If that is the case it is just another reason why the Father Son combo experiment needs to end in Miami

You do realize as of right now, we have 3 schalorship qb's on the roster, their really wasnt a need to take one this year, at the same time, we take 2 next year, which helps to prevent transfers. As of right now, we are in a good spot, barring health. Coach richt is definitely not the problem, his son is not just their like people are making it out to be, its not like he hired him off the street, the man has been around football his whole life, spent 1yr in the pro's, and now he's here.

well you have 1 that has been suspended multiple times and cant stop smoking weed, you have another who is a threat of transferring, and the starter cant get right and has been suspended multiple times too...so yeah there is a need.

And a true frosh helps with that how? I believe we need one but thats not the reason why.

Depth, because if 1 transfers and the other 2 are suspended which could happen since jarren and Weldon were suspended at the same time this year and 75% of our qb on roster were suspended throughout the year, you have a qb and not a RB running wildcat all game. There are true frosh qb starting all over the country.

Alot of that has to do with being young, but that's normal in house stuff for college players. And in case you havent noticed, perry actually understands it now, he first and foremost understands tgat his stats are embarrassing, no matter how good or elite a player thinks he is in his own mind, the film dont lie, his resume thus far has him going 3 of 6 for 20yrds and 2 picks against UVA than 6 of 24 for 52yrds against pitt, with games like that, he should appreciate the effort and leadership rosier has given to this program, here it is perry has way more natural talent than rosier but mentally way behind, and the ststs proved it. He has every opportunity to be the man at UM, and improve his Life, almost everything he was told while being recruited to UM has just about come True for him, the rest is up to him now to take his game to the next level and help coach richt, brown, dugans, hartley and searels, but most importantly his teammates, cause all of them are going to be the main ones who help to get each other to the pro's. The development continues!

And you are not even adding injuries into the equation. It’s not unheard of for a QB gets injured. If you don’t have numbers you could be down to a walk-on starting.
The more options you have the better.
That’s why it’s insane that at this stage of the process we have no prospects.

Still need a qb, nothing of what you stated had anything to do with the need of another qb on roster. Perry just posted a video of him piping a chic, so I am not sure he totally gets it yet. Due to injuries since our qbs run a lot and our oline will exceptional trash this next year and suspensions or anything other number of issues having at most 3 but most likely 2 scholarship qb on a roster is not a recipe for success.

Yeah I didn't even bring in injuries, I stated them in my post right above this about injuries especially since our QBs run and our oline will super trash next year.
