That's bull****, and doesn't take into account the programs situation when they both took over. Golden can get fired on his own merits, but I wouldn't be surprised if he got a 5th year because of the shapiro stuff, and how bad randy was.
 
Golden was highly critical of the RS team when he inherited it. He said the team lacked mental toughness and wasn't prepared. 4 years later the team is exactly where it was when Golden inherited it. Miami still lacks mental toughness and is not prepared.

Yes, he was. Miami was nearly dead last in penalties and turnover margin in 2010.

Theoretically, shouldn't someone that bleeds orange and green know better how to run the program he was so entrenched in? One of "our own" failing so bad should be even more reprehensible. Both should be and should have been fired. The moment one makes the case that Shannon shouldn't have you lose all credibility and I bet Sapp would say that Radio should have received another year. Who gives a flying **** what he inherited?? What he inherited was still more talented than a 2-10 Maryland, 6-6 BC, and countless other losses to less talented teams.

This. Even with the whole NCAA thing, Golden has out recruited every single team in the ACC except for FSU. So no, he shouldn't get another year because its impact didn't prevent him from winning the coastal. He should be held to the same standard as Shannon. 5 losses in year 4 should result in termination.

Hey mouthbreathers: Every single one of the players on our current roster are Al Golden-recruited players.

We're 6-5. 6th place in one of the worst divisions in football. This is his 4th season at the helm.

This is all on Golden and he needs to be fired.

You'd be surprised. I seem to remember Grandpa Luke tweeting something recently about Randy should have been given another year. Nonetheless, the case against Alfred really doesn't need to be muddied by Corch comparisons. There are 4 years of quotes directly from Alfred himself that are justification enough for his immediate dismissal next Saturday at about 11pm.
