Absolutely. Proof of draft concept is more important to these kids than winning. We struggle to recruit DT and WR, well, we better have the coaches & scheme to maximize the ones we land to eventually get a couple drafted in the 1st-3rd round in both position groups to finally see dividends landing 5 stars at those spots.

Yep. Guaranteed you start putting some first/second round WR in the league and the flood gates will open up. Miami has the money/city/ lifestyle etc to offer but that’s all moot to a kid who can go to a school who can pay them the same amount of money n show them Top draft picks balling out in the league.

I am telling you recruiting means jack when you cannot hire competent coaches, struggle to develop players, and are struggling to recruit key areas like D-Tackle, Linebacker, and Safety, we had more than enough talent to win the ACC last year, and we couldn’t even make the title game, I am a canes fan like you and hope Mario gets this thing going cause this is the make or break year for me, it’s playoffs or bust he has the talent on the team, but is he a good enough coach to get us their it is yet to be determined.
