Hat tip to Winky for this list, pretty bad reflection on Al Golden no matter what excuse is used for the transfers, etc.



This list doesn't include the guys Golden signed knowing they wouldn't get in to inflate his class rankings. (Derrick Griffin, Kevin Grooms, Angelo Jean-Louis, DeVante Bond)

That list is nothing but a bunch of me, me, me guys that couldn't buy into the team spirit.

Selfish clique creators that have neither the intestinal fortitude to adhere to core values nor the moral conviction to support standing pillars.

They are not CAGgets.

All apart of football. I remember hearing about the transfers he had, and now look at him.
 
Did any player on those lists even contribute or play for another team? It really does not look like anyone else even wanted them. Could not have been that big a loss.

So, are you saying Golden is a bad judge of talent and character or just that the only recruits he can get are bottom of the barrel types.

We don't know what he knew about those kids getting in or not getting in.

Secondly, I've always held the belief that if someone isn't likely to get in and they're JUCO or prep bound, you still have your offer out there. When their grades are in order, you pulled the offer long ago, your chances of landing them are virtually non-existent.

We used to ***** at Coker in particular, when he'd quit recruiting someone who wasn't going to make it in anywhere. You can't have it both ways.

As for the rest of the post, that's a horrible rate of attrition. He can't say they weren't good enough or they don't fit our scheme, that just says his recruiting evaluations suck. No way around it, that's all on him and his staff.
