TOS say Diaz trying to get Cager back

I want Cager back. Dude had way too many drops last year but he possesses the attitude, leadership, and seniority to complete the WR room if anything. Senior years mean everything to these guys, and he has tangible room for improvement. There are a few Canes that you guys love who peaked their senior year, and I would love to add him to that list.

Miami should take a flyer on am unknown 2 star with "potential", rather than an underachieving player who has proven to not consistently perform.

Let Cager go anywhere he wants except back to Coral Gables.

He needs a new start, Miami needs a new start.

Last TWO years.

How many drops that ended drives did he have?

If you look at the numbers, I'd bet money he was more of a detriment than a benefit. ANYONE else at WR is a better option to get on the field. Let's not forget Cager's been on the team since what, 2015?

This is literally the Perry vs. Rosier argument.

Yeah. Coincidentally, Rosier played better under James Coley/the offense he was recruited for. But suddenly seemed to get worse every year under Richt. Its NOT the same argument, because we are running a different offense.

15-20 drops? lol If he dropped the ball that much he wouldn't be qualified to play naia ball let alone D1. I think everyone remembers him dropping like 4 vs FSU it left a bad taste in their mouth. Other than that i doubt he got targeted all that much more to have a high drop count

Which game vs. FSU? He had several in the last two games.

Answer this question. What trait other than size does he have?

Jair Jones looks like a big bad dude but wouldn’t start at St Thomas, or Lakeland for that matter.

It's the EXACT same argument. The previous scheme has nothing to do with it.

The question is do you play the experienced guy who when given an opportunity consistently proves he can't get the job done, or do you give the snaps to the inexperienced guy?

Same thing.

Last two years????
Bruh get out this discussion. He got injured at the beginning of the 2017 season.

From Miami's athletics site:

2017 (Redshirt Sophomore): Saw action in 10 games with five starts...Totaled 237 receiving yards on 16 receptions with three touchdowns...

So he was hurt to start the season and managed to play in TEN GAMES?

I think you should get out of this discussion bud.

It is NOT the same argument. It's a new coaching staff which means they could give 2 ***** about seniority because they are going to want to develop the younger guys that will actually be there. Which means if he still cant catch, he won't play. Simple as that

Buddy, you just proved yourself a **** fool on this one. Telling people to get out of the discussion when you were just flat out wrong.

Take your losses and go hydrate.

I want him back. We all talk about BB8 but he was basically bust until his senior year. I feel like cager can break out and be a much better Receiver next yer.
He sucked but so did everyone not named Jeff Thomas
