If that is what that is (and that is all there is) then that is that, and there is truth to that. I think they're going to read all of that, rather than make sure there is truth to that. They will then try and find things that are their truth and not focus on things that are rather truthful like that.**** I guess there more worried about themselves then the team. I can understand if they were a lock to go in the 1st and 2nd round but there not there protected 3rd day picks. They could have improved there draft stock alot and probably made twice the amount of money they will now. Good luck to them in there future.

If anyone thinks Pete was just guessing they're an idiot.
The one thing I don't get is why it was a joint decision. Two grown men, who most likely will not play together again, live in the same city during the season, etc, are out here making business decisions together. Baffling.
I thought RJ could have come back and worked his way into the top 10, like Jonathan Allen did at Bama. I'm actually higher on Norton despite him being ranked lower by the "experts." Think he has above average athleticism for his size, but needs to work on his pass-rush ****nal, which is why another year with Kool could have helped him too.
Bottom line, they are Canes and always will be. Hoping for the best for them. This is not a Kaaya or Yearby situation, they will be good pros, just think they could have improved their stock by coming back and helped us compete for the ultimate prize in doing so.
Projections
Mcintosh- 3rd Round (Range 2nd to 4th)
Norton 5th Round (Range 4th to 6th)
**UPDATE
Sources confirm.

You don't understand why neither one would want to risk playing next to unproven talent and then hurt themselves further? This is difficult to grasp for you? As of right now, what we have next year is an unproven, inexperienced second year guy (Ford), a headcase who hasn't played regularly in 3 years (Willis), and a converted DE (Bethel). I wouldn't want to stay either and not only risk injury but risk an entire year of getting doubled by everyone and thus hurting my position even more (oh and while doing it for free instead of a nice salary). Let me know if you get it now.
Yea I definitely don't get the joint decision thing. Sounds like whatever RJ decided, Kendrick was going to do too. For reasons stated by OP that makes no sense. I saw in a article where Norton was worried about double teams if only he came back but with Willis back out there, I don't think that would have been a problem.
You know the coaches did their absolute best and provided them with every bit of relevant info possible, **** even RJ's dad wanted him to stay. But it really seems like they have had their mind made up this whole time that they would be 3 and out so what are you gonna do? Need to land Nesta, Briggs and maybe a Juco and move on. We will be fine but definitely hurts.
This is huge if they stay , completely changes things for next year. Then allows the young guys to redshirt or at least not be forced into the fire.
This is the difference in 8-9 wins and 11-12.
If this was supposedly a joint decision then why hasn’t McIntosh reached a decision?
RJ couldve improved his stock by coming back but top 10?Cmon Next year is an even deeper DT class. RJ would have to put up Ndamakung Suh numbers to make a leap over Payne, Lawrence, Oliver and Gary.
