Due to some family situations, I had to abort my original plan of seeing the game at Hard Rock, in which I ended up having to travel back to my home town (Nole Country).

Due to this being a rivalry, I've maintained all along that I would take a 1 point win every year. In fact, 15 out of the last 18 games between Miami and FSU resulted in a 1 score win by either team. That says it all! Nevertheless, I didn't mean for my comment about being happy if we won by one point, to be that of a literal sense.

I arrived in my hometown on Friday with my car decked out in Miami swag (4 flags, two tags, at least a dozen decals, car seat covers, etc..) FSU fans were giving me **** all day on Friday to put it kindly.

I watched the game surrounded by about 150 Florida State fans; half of which, were my family members. It was only 4 people wearing Miami colors....Me, my son, and my two daughters. Wife?...Nole Alum! During the game, you can only imagine the type of heat that I was receiving from everyone. At half-time, my father and I went to pick up some pizza and wings in Tallahassee. My father is a diehard Seminole fan. He stopped at random stores just so that I could get heckled.

By the time we made it back home, FSU had scored again, making the score 27-7. People that I have not seen or heard from in years, showed up to our watch party in the third quarter just to talk **** and gloat.

Enter Sheldrick motherfukin Redwine!!! As soon as the hit took place, everyone knew that it was a game changing moment. The room got very quiet. So quiet, you could hear Nole fans hearts thumping to the beat of the turnover chain song. Looks of concern were picture perfect......I'm talking prom day with a pink suit, picture perfect!! All of this was before we even capitalized on the turnover with a TD.

Needless to say, the rest of the game was a complete meltdown in my home town. I witnessed too many people crying to even try to count, FSU gear being burnt on grills, phones being thrown and broken, fights among each other (idiots). It was a thing a beauty....absolute tear worthy. It was like having a threesome with Halle Berry and Scarlett Johansson, while forcing Willie Taggart to watch and bring me and my ladies grapes and ****!

I practically toured Tallahassee last night....Orange and Green from head to toe. Like my father, I stopped at random places, just so that I could smile and wave like I was the Pope in that bytch.

Having been in the Tally area to watch the last two games vs FSU, I can honestly say that they are taking this year's lost a lot worse than they did last year. It's one thing to get beat at the last second; of course that **** stings. But to lose to your rival after being up by 20, with just 21 minutes left in the game, is beyond heartbreaking.

Watching Miami win against FSU- Amazing
Being on a winning streak vs. FSU- Phenomenal
Waking up in Tally to eat FSU hearts and souls for Sunday Brunch after snatching it out of their bodies the previous night.......Thats ****** Priceless!!!

I screamed my heart out all the fing day for you & brothers like u. I know many of us were behind enemy lines. I kept telling our boys to endure and overcome.

When we were grinding them into the ground, I was yelling at our Bigs to take their souls. FSU's dline could hear me too. We did just that We took their SOULS. Then we lined up & called the sweetest play in the book.

Victory Formation!!!

Thank you for the good work soldier. We are all proud of U.

At first I was really ****ed that I was not going to be able to make it to Hard Rock. However, I must admit, being in the heart of Nole country allowed me to witness the life being sucked out of a complete fan base. It made up for me not being able to go to the game. Tallahassee was in complete shock and disarray. The mood was so down, one would have thought that Bobby Bowden just died while delivering the eulogy at Derrick Brooks funeral.

Always like being in Tally during our games back in the 80s. Watching them cry is just great. We held their souls for a long time. A few years back, in the game Duke got hurt, I was on a cruise the night of that game. There were several Nole fans in the casino at table with me. Before the game I tried to get some beats from them. This was their NC year and this bunch of Nole gamblers would back their frigging team at home. This loss will cause internal bleeding for years.

The biggest point for me is when they all acted like someone drew and quartered chief Oceola when all redwine did was force one turnover being down 27 to 7. This tells me that all the epic beatdowns and miracle finishes have left an impressive and malignant inferiority complex on the moles psyche. No matter how much **** they talk, they are forever scarred. I ******* love it.

Love this post, Reg. Can't think of a sweeter atmosphere outside of being at the game than the one you got to enjoy. The only thing more enjoyable than epic victory is one that comes with a schadenfreude chaser!

I can't like this enough. Major props to OP.

My wife and in-laws are also Noles, but are pretty mild when it comes to fandom and are generally awesome. I can't imagine having family members who were real, dyed-in-the-wool FSU mouth-breathers.
