We've known he's not athletic or has the greatest pocket presence, but he took off and ran a few times tonight, AND rolling out to extend plays and drives AND took some hits.

He threw the ball away instead of forcing into triple coverage like GT multiple times.

He had ONE bad play on his first INT, AND YALL crucify him for that?? Yall expect him to have a PERFECT game for us to win the game??

Where TF was the defense getting roasted by a kid who's been on the team since this morning? 3rd and 20 for a TD LOL. Dude had 6 catches and 3 TDs lmao

Where TF was the defense who allowed yet another UNC 200 yard rusher???

Where TF was the defense forcing zero turnovers??

Where TF are these 5 star players on defense?? They're doing little dances and celebrating a play down 13 points,and getting beat deep on every pass play. Not knowing where to line up.

And UNC graciously called off the dogs and settled for 2 back to back field goals for the entire fourth quarter, instead of dropping a 50 burger.

TVD didn't fumble on the 2 inch line. TVD didn't snap the ball 3 yards to the left.

Yall are done with him and ready for what??

Yall want him benched to have Emory Williams' first start against Clemson lol

Or better yet, Jacurri can run us to victory against Clemson lmao.

TVD is the ONLY reason we had anything tonight and our WRs for playing lights out.

Tonight was 100% on the defense. Their single digit IQs and their moron coordinator for sprinting onto the field to be the first coordinator in CFB history to get a personal foul.

Yeah he looked real good when the game was out of reach and prior to having a competitive game one receiver TVD was in plain sight. He can't play under the lights and all those stat padding happened when we're down 4 scores with 10 minutes left.

Nothing on his end change since the GT game.

If you haven't noticed, he only throws to guys who are open or forces it. Never throws guys open.

UNC didn’t start playing any worse or playin soft. You don’t think Dawson forcing himself to spread and have multiple WR sets played a role in TVD playin a little better. That should be UMs main offense. I’m tired of the HB dive and tight formations. Doesn’t challenge the defense vertically and not effective in getting the ball to our playmakers in space.

I agree Dawson did spread it out more, but I don't think one is better then the other or connected, the end result was he threw two TDs in the second half, the first half, the team got two TDs.
No one told him to hit the UNC player in the back when we was tripled up. No one told TVD to stare down the rec and ended up throwing right in the LB hands. Those are fundamental issues.

When you open up an offense you had to decide if you wanna be a program like Lincoln Riley runs or Texas Tech. Historically, every team who wins big with three things, blocking, tackling and ball security, that's the blueprint to win.
We blocked pretty well, tackled poorly, and we're not secure with the ball and we got the L.

This. Can anyone name a better QB we've had in the last 15 years? I'll wait.

TVD has his issues (locks on to X, doesn't go thru enough progressions, struggles vs. certain zone coverage) but he's definitely above average and good enough to win us 10 games.

Side note - Everyone fails to mention our lack of explosion with the running game. 1 run over 30 yards in 6 games (which was vs. prevent defense). 0 runs over 40 yards all season. Puts everything on TVD for chunk plays.

I agree with what u saying but I def think there’s a difference in the formations. Alabama doesn’t even go as tight as UM, have a less accurate qb, arguably a worse OL, and still spread the offense and challenge opponents vertically. So am I asking we go full Lincoln Riley no, but I would love for UM to put more emphasize on challenging the opponent vertically and gettin the ball to our playmakers in space. The current offensive philosophy doesn’t do that. We don’t have the talent to just completely impose our will and even if we did I don’t think it’s a very smart philosophy.

Not only the but by default it forces TVD to spread the ball and build chemistry with multiple WRs not just the top 3.

Parrish and don aren't explosive. CJ is the only explosive back on the roster

the running game is killing us. Ajay or CJ need to play more, we have no explosiveness.
 
Both sides could’ve been better. Offense couldn’t capitalize on good field position early. They also started the 2nd half with 2 turnovers and a 3 and out.

I said last week I thought we’d lose this game cause our secondary couldn’t hold up. But i actually thought we looked decent defensively the 1st half. But too many drives got extended by bone headed penalties. And too many turnovers. So as bad as the D looked the 2nd half…

He’s in shotgun genius. You don’t need to dive on the ball when it’s within arms reach and you’re 5 yds behind the los. If Lee hadn't kicked it, he easily could have picked it up and continued the play. It happens all the time. If he was under center, you would have a point
 
Our Defensive QB #5 is a bigger problem imo. Never seen an all-american make zero impact on any game all season (sans first game maybe). Andddd somehow WR’s get behind our safties constantly.

1 thing Miami has to stop doing is splitting out 84 if ur gonna make him run routes on 3rd downs get him the **** out he is 0 threat in the pass game put in 80 or 88. Love 84 in line but outside of that that’s just **** poor mis management of a players abilities
