He had ONE bad play on his first INT, AND YALL crucify him for that?? Yall expect him to have a PERFECT game for us to win the game??

Where TF was the defense getting roasted by a kid who's been on the team since this morning? 3rd and 20 for a TD LOL. Dude had 6 catches and 3 TDs lmao

Where TF was the defense who allowed yet another UNC 200 yard rusher???

Where TF was the defense forcing zero turnovers??

Where TF are these 5 star players on defense?? They're doing little dances and celebrating a play down 13 points,and getting beat deep on every pass play. Not knowing where to line up.

And UNC graciously called off the dogs and settled for 2 back to back field goals for the entire fourth quarter, instead of dropping a 50 burger.

TVD didn't fumble on the 2 inch line. TVD didn't snap the ball 3 yards to the left.

Yall are done with him and ready for what??

Yall want him benched to have Emory Williams' first start against Clemson lol

Or better yet, Jacurri can run us to victory against Clemson lmao.

TVD is the ONLY reason we had anything tonight and our WRs for playing lights out.

Tonight was 100% on the defense. Their single digit IQs and their moron coordinator for sprinting onto the field to be the first coordinator in CFB history to get a personal foul.

Problem I have with some of y'all as fans is the selective hate for who ain't y'all favorites and won't call a spade a spade. I agree with everything that the original poster is saying

But the monumental blame on TVD is annoying AF. Too many of y'all pick and choose who to hate on but if we ain't playing from behind after a fumble at the 1, or we can't get off the field on D, or numerous personal foul penalties, or your left tackle being a turnstile for 60 minutes, or your cornerbacks not being able to cover and your main receivers not being able to create seperation. TVD has his faults but come on...the effort as a whole in the 2nd half was the problem
Throw Emory out there we win 3 games

Y’all are prisoners of the moment. TVD the best QB UM has had since Dorsey (3-2 as a starter vs ranked teams) But like I said before, that ain’t saying much if you look at who’s played QB for past two decades.

We've had some solid QBs during that time. I would argue Brock Berlin better then TVD. Brock would have killed it in a spread offense. Kayaa, Morris and Harris were pretty solid QBs. TVD solid but its a good argument where does he stand among them

Pure Facts.

I’m not done with TVD or advocating moving on from him, but diving out in front of him to deflect any blame he receives after these last two games is the definition of Slurping: worshipping a person or personality and placing their best interest over the best interests of the team and program.

Out of the 4 you named only one was drafted (Kaaya) and it was in the 6th round. There’s a reason for it. All had far more talent at their disposal than yet realistically none of them put up the numbers like TVD.

So I should excuse him for his ****** 3rd and 10 throw to X that caused us to kick a field goal? Lost a TD by any competent QB because of that

I should excuse him for giving gu gu eyes to a UNC LB and still deciding to throw…btw that directly lead to a TD.

I should excuse him for throwing it into the back pad of a UNC DB when Isaiah Horton was open for the first down on 4th & 10? Couldn’t kick at least a field goal because of that.

I should excuse him for the countless sacks he took when he could’ve just simply threw it away?

All because he actually decided to play after we were down 21 points? Maybe he shouldn’t have been responsible for a 14-21 point swing in the score last night

I support him. I’m just pointing out he’s not good enough to meet the expectations most people are having for this season. And I don’t think we have anyone that can do better

Prisoner of the moment. Kaaya was 1-7 vs ranked teams. Lost his first 7 games vs ranked opponents and didn’t get first ranked W until his 38th start

In those 7 games he had 249 YPG, 13 TDs & 8 INTs - averaged 19PPG

In comparison, TVD is 3-2 vs ranked teams.
In those 5 games he has 342 YPG, 16TDs & 3INTs - averages 31 PPG

Well said.
We now have the benefit of two years to see what TVD can produce on the field. The UNC game was pivotal in as much as how we stack up against the best of the ACC. You can blame MC or the turnovers, etc... but TVD is the most important player on the team and I hope that he can make a lot of adjustments cause it's going to be a painful rest of this season if he doesn't.

We are talking about TVD. Dude played like chit against a terrible defense. Yeah worst call in history I agree but TVD contributed
 
It doesn't matter what the fans think about TVD, because our success this season is inextricably linked to his play. That being the case, TVD is at his best when you spread teams the **** out, use a little pace, and let him eat in the RPO game to setup the downfield throws for which he really excels.

If you want good TVD, use the **** hashes and move your talent around the formation so every position on the field is a threat. Added bonus for the Meathead is that there is no way a light box can defend the run against our OL.

You want bad TVD? Tighten your formations, make the run vs. pass obvious to the defense, leave Restrepo in the slot and bring in TE and WR you never throw to, even when the defense doesn't cover them.

TVD has his ups and downs, but to me, the coaching decisions drive a lot of how badly those go.
