BCU - Struggle to win.
FAU - Struggle to win

Nebraska - Loss
Cinci - Loss
FSU - Loss by at least two touchdowns
Virginia Tech - Loss
Clemson - blows the doors off Miami. Team mails it in
Duke - win
Virginia - Loss
UNC - Loss
GTech - Loss
Pitt - Loss Goodbye golden.

3-9

Its going to get ugly, and Golden will be squirming by Mid October

Struggle? FAU may be close for a half. I'll give you 14 points in each game. $100 each game. Loser pays at the VT game.
Throw in the Cincy game at Even.

Please give us your game by game breakdown showing the wins and losses.

I see people tossing these low win totals and as much as I can't stand Golden, you're setting the bar far too low. The schedule is ridiculously easy and when he surpasses those expectations, it's going to be ammunition for him keeping his job.

The only two losses I think happen for sure are Clemson and FSU. He'll probably have another two against whomever, but that's it.
Go threw last season's schedule with the talent that team had and the only loss they should have had was against FSU. They ended up losing 6 other games.

You can't go by the oh we should win that game logic with AL GOLDEN as the coach

He just wants to get everyone on record. No one knows squat. Put it out there.

Canes win the first four and are riding high. Buzz around town about Canes being back, maybe we are even ranked!

And then... FSU curb stomps us. VT wins a low scoring ugly game. Clemson blows the doors off. Duke: golden out coached again. Miami beats Virginia in ugly fashion. Hope springs eternal, Miami will at least close out the season right with at least a winning record and a bowl game right?

Wrong! Golden out coached again in The triangle. GT goes 460 yards to lock up the Coastal crown again. Post thanksgiving hang over and freakish cold undo the Canes in Pittsburg.

5-7.

No way! You lost your mind. 9-3 or 10-2 if the D really comes on with the one gap. 7-5 if we play like last year.

Losses to:

-Clemson
-VT
-BCC ( Just Kidding !!)
-Pittsburg

* we finally beat FSU but, GT or VT make it to the ACC Championship game.
-

You see GT losing to us but beating, FSU and/or Clemson?

Let's all pray for a good season man. Let's get behind the team. Forget golden and the administration

I see GT likely losing to Clemson but, could beat FSU this year. FSU lost quality players off the D line to the draft and a starting LB to injury. Their defensive front 7 will be weaker than last year and they struggled last year. Clemson also lost D line studs to the draft but, should fair better than FSU concerning the front 7 with the talent they have taking over. We are finally deep at D Line and the secondary is stacked with another year of playing time experience under their belts. We should perform much better against GT this year. That's my rationale.

Not sure what exactly you mean there buddy but, please grace us with your brilliant knowledge and acumen on what the season holds record wise based on your infinite wisdom . Oh, and if all you got is #FIREALGOLDEN or #FIREALFOLDEN then please don't bother bruh

How about anyone predicting 8 or more wins justify their reasoning. Look below, pretend you don't know the results and find 7 losses.

UL - new staff, new qb, best two players injured
FAU
Arkansas St
Nebraska
Duke
GT
Cincy
VT
UNC
FSU
UVA
Pitt

USCe Bowl game

It's simple regarding this year, check it out. Miami, is one of the best of the "mediocre" teams that make up the coastal. FSU lost tons of experience on defense and will need to break in a new QB. I don't think Maguire at the helm can beat us this year and Golston, I won't even go there...this guy will be FSU's Brock Berlin, win some games but, lose some that they should have won, like to us! Clemson lost a good amount of talent on defense to the draft and Watson IMO hasn't proved yet to be the real thing like Kaaya has. That game is a toss up in my mind "if" the defensive scheme goes to an aggressive single gap, attacking defense. Nebraska also lost tons of talent in Abdullah, Gregory, etc. that are not easily replaceable. I think in our case, we can replace the talent we lost much easier based on our depth. You have to remember this time last year that Walford was a good talent but inconsistent. Dorsett was coming off injury and hadn't really produced much consistently, and we had a question mark at QB. This year we have Kaaya on schedule to be even better than last year and a quality supporting cast as long as they perform to standard. I could be full of **** but, let's revisit this come late November. If I'm wrong, I will eat a huge slice of humble pie with a topping of STFU. Golden's seat is an inferno this season and he knows that he has nothing to lose; it's do or die for him. He will be more aggressive in all areas of the game and pull out at least an 8-4 season. I'm predicting a 9-3 campaign.

7-5

Bethune and FAU are the only locks. Every other game is losable.

I wouldn't place FAU in the lock column. They're a crosstown rival and need to be taken seriously. Yes, I said it.

"Crosstown rival" is a bit of a stretch there both geographically and on the field, buddy. This is actually a game I wish we'd end up running it up in and possibly angering good ol' FAU Howard. No matter the state of this program or favor to Schnellenberger, we shouldn't be playing a freakin' weeknight road game in Boca in an on-campus stadium.

I've been thinking about this for a while; most predictions seem to be the old NCAA Football on no-injury mode. This team is not deep. You want details? I'll give you details:

BCU - W
Synopsis: The usual present day 'Cane struggles against a motivated FCS team. Stands at 21-10 Miami after halftime, 28-10 at the end of the third quarter. Late surge with Kaaya getting more reps than expected and BCC miscues lead to more Miami points. Final Score: 45-13 Miami. Postgame, Golden blames "first game jitters" for a slow start.

FAU - W
Synopsis: The cracks already start to show in the Schnelly Bowl. FAU, unaccustomed to playing in front of a packed stadium, plays out of their minds and the heretofore tepid support from their fan turns into a wave of noise, further feeding their strong play. Miami is shocked by the home field advantage and at one point in the third quarter is losing by 3, earning an "Upset Alert" on the ESPN crawl. Coley is forced to go deeper in the playbook and start using schemes intended for better opponents. Even some Rosier wildcat is used. Some strong running by Gus Edwards gives Miami the lead, but D'Onofrio's confused "Which gap defense do we play now again" defensive play calling leads to an easy FAU score. Kaaya is forced to make desperate throws and the OL shows how green they are, with him running for his life on some plays. A late TD pass to Coley gets the win, but the team is shaken. Final Score: 35 - 32 Miami. Postgame, Al repeatedly talks about this being "FAU's biggest game in program history" and how that made it closer than anyone expected. He also states "We have to go back down the road and fix what was wrong with our play here tonight and that's on me."

Nebraska - L
Synopsis: Early in the second quarter, with Miami and Nebraska tied 7-7, Kaaya is on a designed roll-out that the Nebraska's Blackshirts saw on film from the FAU game. The designated QB spy, missed by an O-line man, hits Kaaya hard early in the play and he lands on his throwing shoulder forcing him to leave the game. Later, it is learned he has a dislocated shoulder and a broken clavicle. The unexpected player loss stuns the 'Canes and Golden looks lost on the sideline. Rosier and a trio of backs are only able to generate 10 more points and Nebraska's offense continues to stay two steps ahead of the D playcalling. Nebraska rolls 42-17. Postgame, Al is mute: "Yeah, losing Brad is uh, oh jeez, yeah, uh, he may be out for the season (clears throat) yeah, tough loss, but we lost our leader, so it kinda went that way"

Cincinnati-L
Synopsis: Now in full panic mode, Golden promotes Evan Shirreffs, burning his shirt in a similar way Shannon burned Morris' shirt. Looking for a big win to christen their renovated stadium in front of a national audience, the Bearcats are relentless and easily confuse the new Miami QB, leading to three early interceptions and two Cincy defensive scores. Dorito continues his unique knack of helping opposing QBs Heisman campaigns and goes back to having lineman drop into coverage. Avoidng Miami's DBs and feasting on underneath routes with little pressure, Kiel throws for three scores and 355 yards. Cincy wins easily, 35-14. Postgame, Golden defends his use of Shirreffs, saying "at this time" Shirreffs "gives us the best chance to win." Blake gives his first vote on confidence to Golden on the following Saturday.

FSU - L
Synopsis: Shirreffs starts again and now understands a word he had never heard before: Steamroller. Doak starts emptying in the third quarter and a fight breaks out on the Miami sideline in the 4th. FSU in a blowout, 49 to 14. Postgame, Al comments on FSU not being very far removed from being a "National Champ team." incredulously, Golden states his team "is getting better"

Virginia Tech - L
Synopsis: After beating O$U again, VT is on a roll and does not want to repeat their late season swoon. Earlier in the week, Bud Foster has a bottle of Jack and punches out the bartender for not giving him more (Blacksburg Police never receive a call) and has his defense humming, torturing Miami's OL. No running game means no offense and Miami falls to VT 24-10. Postgame, Al laments "that injuries are killing us."

Clemson - L
Rosier starts and Miami takes a suprising one touchdown lead early. Reality does set in and a lackluster crowd does not help. Clemson scores two late and wins 28 to 21. Golden is high on his defense's improved play and says "we are turning the corner." Kaaya, not suprisingly, is still out. Blake James gives his second vote of confidence to Golden.

Duke - L
The QB whisperer, Cutcliffe, has Dorito's number and and the corner Golden turned was a blind curve leading to an oncoming train. Duke wins at home, 28-17 with Shirreffs and Rosier sharing QB duties. Postgame, Golden cites a locker room meeting for an abbreviated press conference, and mentions "unity is a challenge."

Virginia - W
Synopsis: Mike London finally paysGolden back with a job saving (for the moment) win. Rosier plays the whole game, runs for two scores and passes for two more. Final score, Miami 31, Virginia 17. Postgame, Al plays up the performance, calling it "a Big Win against a talented team with 5 star recruits"

UNC - L
Synopsis: Dorito latest assist goes to Marquise Williams, who coming back after a being injured the previous two weeks, looks like a NY invitee with a dominating performance. Even the move of Dallas Crawford to RB in a return to UNC does not help a now moribund running attack and Miami falls 35-17. Postgame, Al Golden is not available afterwards due to some "consultations."

GTech - L
Synopsis: Paul Johnson, Mr. High School and Service Academy Offense, putts the final nail in Al Golden's coffin. A 52-10 thrashing in front of maybe 9,000 fans and a sea of aqua is more than even Frenck can handle as he remarks to a media member, "Yes, change can be a positive."

Pitt - W
Synopsis: Interim Coach Coley, in an audition game, throws everything but the kitchen sink at Paul Chryst and the Panthers, including a suited up Kaaya on the sideline (though he doesn't play). The defense, in a simplified scheme, proves that without Dorito's bumbling (James, in letting go Golden, also fires Dorito, less the pitchfork mob decends on his office) they can play dominating defense, Even a late warm spell in Pittsburgh is along for the ride, warming the 10 'Cane fans who show up. Miam Wins 35-14.

4-8...Is that detailed enough for you?

I don't give a crap where AG comes from. If you read my post you will see that I have him being fired for not winning the Coastal.
You didn't take me up on those bets. Why? It's called putting your money where your mouth is.
