I simply disagree with anyone who has an issue with the banner flying. The administration has done this to themselves over the course of the last 2 decades. It's 100% warranted.

To be clear, this banner should mention NOTHING of Manny. All he is , is a human being that did what anyone would do and that's take a promotion and more money. This HAS to be directed at the administration ONLY.

Fly that *****, twice. Bring shame upon those pieces of crap.

If you buy season tickets every year because you love the Canes and support the program....and then throw money at this because you think it will fix the problem, you're dead wrong.

This fan base is 1000% involved with everything that is wrong with Miami.

Do any of you legitimately believe that doing embarrassing **** like this will encourage quality people to get involved and fix the problem? What a ******* joke!

If it doesnt say manny then the admin will require the new AD to keep him.

it absolutely needs to say manny, hes the one corching it up and recruiting worse than any coach we have ever had.

If anyone believes flying a $300-400 (or whatever the **** it costs) banner over Hard Rock before a nationally televised game 6 games in to a new regime will change ANYTHING, I don't know what to tell you. The ONLY thing it will accomplish is embarrassing the U and make us the laughing stock of CFB.

It's your money. Do what you will with it.

This is true (and a very good point). But the overall basis of dissent for those that disagree is that the banners in general are a part of what makes Miami fans appear "delusional" from the outside. It gives the school a bad rap and teenagers eat up negativity and feed it back out to those around them, including our recruits. Kids that come play for Miami at a substantial discount compared to what they could be earning at SEC schools get belittled and badgered like they're professional athletes when they could go elsewhere and be "slurped" for going 9-4/10-4/11-3 etc.

It's bad enough to be a Miami commit at 16 or 17 years old and have to turn down a bag to go play in some hick town where you could be a star, have all the girls just from being on the team, and drive the nicest cars that belong to your "uncle". But to be loyal to the U in the face of all of that and then to have to be ridiculed because the team sucks and the fans suck and internet presence sucks and all the other bullshyt kids have to endure is part of why we lead the country in decommitments every year.

We all want this university's football program to be good again, but REAL change only happens based on $$$$. Using our money wisely should be paramount. Flying banners? That ain't it, chief.

I couldn't disagree more. Truth be told this banner isn't getting anyone fired anyways...it's just a warning shot across the bow. It needs to attack the ADMINISTRATION...which is the root of all problems at the University of Miami.

If they do hire a REAL AD, that real AD will fire Manny anyways. It's a problem that is organically solved.

Attack those worthless piece of **** admins.

Exactly. Who's more impressionable, the 18 year old recruit or the 63 year old rich BOT member? The 18 year old will flee for the hills but the 63 year old doesn't care about some low lives with a text message in the air.
