Because for the past week he's been an enabler for the Stevenson Miami troll just like Richt was. Stevenson can tell a media writer where he's going but Banda who he's supposed to have a good relationship with, or Cooney who has known him and his brother coaches Tyrique can't get the scoop. Neither of them can get a straight answer about where the kid is going. That's just like Rumph finding out a couple days before signing day that his former players guys who he had a personal relationship weren't coming to Miami. As long as coaches aren't ****ed the ***off about kids using Miami as a prop then they'll keep getting fired. Also don't give dudes jobs or promotion for average work.

Wiltfong said in latest update that Stevenson is likely SEC bound. Says his relationship with Coley and the fact his mom wants him at UGA were the main factors. Stated he had Miami for "the longest time" because of his relationship with Banda.

On Bogle he says he is not sure. He says there has been a lot of buzz about him going to Bama this week but not enough for him to change his pick off Miami. He says that Bogle's mom want him close to home and that Bogle really likes Manny.

Weird how both these situations are exact opposites but might both go against us. TS wants to be home but mom says no. Bogle doesn't necessarily mind not being in Miami, but mom wants him close to home.

Basically don't get your hopes up and pray we start playing the bag game soon.

I get it and you may be right; but they don't even have a DC in place. How do you go to a program that you don't even know what Defensive philosophy they are going to run? Maybe they'll hire Randy and he'll run the Tampa 2, or O'Nofrio and run the Temple 8.
We were scrambling to replace Manny when he took the Temple job to try and stop the hemorrhaging and this kid is still considering going to a school without a coach. South Florida kids man! Or South Florida moms man!

Don't see how anyone can argue this at this point. Rumph is actually a better technical coach than Banda but for some reason Banda seems to get a pass.

A lot of folks make excuses for these kids with the business decision routine. A few days ago Tyrique tweeted eyes and the U hands or some **** on Twitter right after Manny was hired. These kids don’t just make “business decisions”, they clown us. Unacceptable and doesn’t happen anywhere else. Rotten HS culture some of y’all celebrate. That **** happens in Tuscaloosa they aren’t graduating after getting some unexpected Fs and their house is getting burned down. (Slight hyperbole for you slow folks). So fla folks help them write out their business decision nonsense. Thankfully I had no expectations.

And for that, I get keeping Rumph on staff. But then you better have beast recruiters to supplement his shortcomings as a recruiter, which Banda was supposed to be. It's another elite target that he's missed on. Also, what are we crowning Cooney for then just 2 weeks ago?

It’s the biggest thing we have to recruit against. The “So FL vs everyone” mentality has been a huge detriment. The prevailing thought of you can make the crib great no matter where you are has crushed us along with bags. A thought often perpetuated by this site and its writers, mind you. Just keeping it 100
