BCU's coach was at Oregon with Mario and also with Guidry at W. Kentucky. I doubt Mario tries to embarrass a colleague. We will try to get our guys some tune up but I doubt we push the pedal to the metal. Probably see a high % of run to pass to run clock but it will be a beatdown even if the end score is not where we think it should be (60's or 70's).

yeah you can beat someone 77-0 and not try to embarrass them. Mario won’t be calling timeouts to ensure another score, going for it on 4th to rack up a TD etc but I think it’s more insulting and embarrassing to have another coach pity you. We won’t do that.

But the thing about this team is running the ball isn’t necessarily taking it easy on the other team. It’s part of our identity

Agree. Chaney, Allen, Parrish, and Fletcher will all score. At least two of them will have have over a 100 yards. (Maybe 3)

I’m wondering if they play Fletcher or let him recover a bit more. I’d love to see CJ get some burn in this one. I could see multiple 100yard rushers also

Definitely. Problem for Bethune is that two deep has guys like McCoy/Samson/Chaney/Allen etc

We are 41 point favorites and the over/under is 56 and this is free Vegas money to hammer both. I’ve seen some speculation that because we will be playing a lot of backups that this game won’t be an absolute bloodbath. I disagree. Our backups are on a completely different level

I listened to Ariz and D$'s podcast where Danny reminded us that BC's head coach worked with Mario at Oregon, so there was no way Mario would humiliate him. While I agree with that, I also think players get a vote. I only see them licking their chops to create havoc. That said, 56 is A LOT to cover, so I don't think I'd bet against the spread this game if I were a betting man, which I'm not. Score is anyone's guess, is all I'm saying.

No doubt it's super hard to slow a game down when your players and staff have so much riding on flexing their capabilities. I mean, do we really think Jacurri won't want to light them up if he gets his shot? Or Bain not get a strip sack scoop and score? I just think a 56 point spread already factors that in.

The spread was 41 when I posted and now it’s 53.5. That is insane line movement and the point of betting is to beat the lines

The Over/under was 56 and now it’s 60.5 not the spread

So both bets would be considered excellent plays (at the time of the post) whether they hit or not

That 41 point spread was free money. We almost covered that against Ohio Miami.
