There is no way UM doesn't know "Mario's Answer" by now

The story is that when he got the Bama offer, he didn't want to disrespect UM and leave, so he went to talk with Jimmy Johnson. JJ told him that if he wanted to be a great coach, he needed to learn from a great coach. So it wasnt as simple as Cristobal leaving UM because it was a ****show. He left because he had been fired from FIU and he wanted to learn how to become a better coach, and one of the GOAT UM HCs recommended he take up Sabans offer.

If you want to say Mario is disloyal, then you also need to say Jimmy Johnson is disloyal. I doubt most people would do the latter.
I hadn’t heard that story before. I hope that is true because the way he turned his back on his alma mater after Golden scooped him up off the scrap heap always rubbed me the wrong way. And no, as much as I detest Al Golden, Mario taking the job with Bama had nothing to do with “sniffing Golden out” in the 5 minutes he was actually here.

He’s coming home…he’s has given them a confirmation But and it’s a Big Booty Butt…if UM leaks it out that he’s taking the job before the conference championship that will complicate his decision..he wants to address the team like a stand up guy he is…unlike Kelly and Riley..except a announcement Sunday or Monday..

I have said it before and I will say it again. I’d be shocked if anyone took the job without knowing who the AD was. My guess is Mario told Miami when you get an AD make your pitch

That shows zero loyalty
If he had not, he never would have gotten the Oregon gig and we would not be discussing him replacing Diaz now. Saban is the best coach of this era and one of the best all time. What coach worth their salt would NOT want to work for him and learn from him?

I don’t think this is the case. If it was, Miami would have rushed the AD hire.

I think it’s the opposite as I mentioned in another thread. The Mario deal is done, and part of the power their giving him in that deal is approving the ad selection. He’s going to get total control of football. That’s the only way to sweeten the deal enough for him to come

Boy if that’s true I feel kind of bad about leering at her, at the same time posting a picture of your daughter on this site is not advisable
The following is a depressing thought which completely ruined a certain form of entertainment for me

Every stripper is someone's daughter.

Of course now that I have a 20 year old daughter I can't even imagine going inside a strip club

O boy the meltdown on here would be epic if, on Saturday, Mario gets a new deal from Oregon.

I really wanna believe you

Facts it's done imo

We wouldn't wait this long like dum azzes
We don't even have an AD in place.

When they didn't fire Diaz immediately after firing James I knew we'd run into this problem. He's out recruiting with no idea himself if he's coming back.

Considering we've been searching for an AD for weeks (who knows what to believe at this point), you have to appoint that guy before making a decision on the Head Football Coach. It's a terrible way to conduct things.

Op, I agree and if this is the case, I think it is a pretty classy thing to do by UM. I hope this is the case and the plan. If not, it is a cluster fvck.

I am hearing is what herbstreet did woke up the higher ups at UM. They know they have to wake up and get better. I am hearing from someone close that Mario is a done deal. Just waiting until Saturday cause he has to coach against Utah tomorrow. I think they are holding on to manny as plan B if The mario deal falls through. Also, Mario is skeptical about who the AD is going to be. I think he wants to know first

I just think if they knew Mario was coming then Manny would of been fired already. It's clear Mario either said no or have not given them an answer
Maybe he just said I can't focus on that now to give you a yes or no... If the job is still open on Saturday, Dec 4, we can talk. Put together your best offer and we'll see then - I'd be foolish not to listen... That would be the professional thing to say...

I keep seeing "what if Mario says no"...I seriously doubt UM is waiting until after the game tomorrow night to see if Mario wants the job (even with lack of organization shown so far). He knows and they know by now. If it weren't him you would have to assume the Kiffin deal would already be done by now or they are just simply keeping Manny...again, as I said before, my gut says Mario is a done deal.
Is a done deal. They are just waiting after tomorrow. Mario is skeptical about who the AD is going to be

The only thing I would say to that is, does it make sense for Mario to know his own answer if he doesn't know the AD? If you were in his position would you say yes without knowing that? He may be in a position that he's expressed interest depending on the AD hire.

That's the thing about this whole process that is still perplexing me. With Mario and Kiffin on the line how do you manage that without telling them who the AD will be?
Yep. I am hearing he is skeptical about who the AD will be
