There is no way UM doesn't know "Mario's Answer" by now

You’re assuming an awful lot here. Not sure how you’ve deduced that I spend every day worrying lmao. On the other hand, I apologize if I dampered your optimism by pointing out that we may in fact keep the coach we haven’t fired yet…
Just trying to help you out with understanding the situation, chief. I'm good and will leave you alone to continue post about things that aren't going to happen and that aren't bothering you. Cheers

That shows zero loyalty
It shows how intelligent he is. Mario left Miami because he saw how much of a **** show Al Golden’s organization was. He wasn’t going to stick around and sink his career.

If Mario doesn’t leave then and sticks around he never gets hired at Bama and never gets to where he is today. Loyalty is important, but he put his family and career first. Going to coach under the best in the business was a very smart move.

Wow you are so kind. Thank you very much for allowing me to post!

Cheer up, though. We may get rid of Manny. He hasn't been retained yet.

Yet you had the Mas geniuses and Bush's Cuban Chief of Staff ready to pull the trigger on Nunez for AD because of his refined Miami Bro Mentality. Every single member of the BOT is ******* clueless when it comes to the football program and our only hope is that we luck our way into a good hire.
Clueless? Every single member? Disagree. Look no further than Vilma and Bernie Kosar.

Nonetheless, your point is valid in that most know very little about football. However, their fiduciary duty is to the university where education takes priority. What creates dysfunction is that there are certain elements of the BOD (Epstein, et al) that have an agenda and do not want to lose control and power.

You pick on the "Miami Bros" but at at least they care about sports. They want us to succeed. They want to improve the product on the field across all the major programs. That is a start. You can question their methods or who they like as an AD, etc., but we are far better off with Mas, Lemonis, etc. being involved then relying on the Epsteins of the BOT. We have all had enough of that circle jerk.

I'm going to predict Cristobal to UM, Kiffin to Oregon. Not quite tropical waters for Kiffin, but he only has to deal with Riley in the Pac 12 (and USC is in a different division). Given the resources and lack of conference competition, I'd say Oregon would more attractive than Oklahoma right now. Kiffin wants back to the NFL. Chip Kelly never won a ring but he got a NFL HC job out of Oregon so it can be done.

Hats off to everyone in this thread , I’ve just read everyone’s post.
A tremendous amount of common sense reality here.
Impressive contrasting points with respectful responses.
Boys you all got me convinced so much confidentiality is glaring loudly that the fix is in allegedly of course.

The lack of a vote of confidence tells me now with all I’ve read there’s no need .

I’m a realest and I find it hard not to believe any of this isn’t real that top secret behind the scenes conversations have and are presently continuing.

You guys are good real good, continue on very impressive thread one of the best 🙌

Who says he doesn't know who his boss would be? Just because you don't know, doesn't mean Mario doesn't know.
I've never been one to try to figure out what's inside boxes under the Christmas tree by shaking them and even lifting the wrapping carefully.
Not me I love surprises! However, some surprises do suck.

I keep seeing "what if Mario says no"...I seriously doubt UM is waiting until after the game tomorrow night to see if Mario wants the job (even with lack of organization shown so far). He knows and they know by now. If it weren't him you would have to assume the Kiffin deal would already be done by now or they are just simply keeping Manny...again, as I said before, my gut says Mario is a done deal.

i agree. The LSU and USC jobs were a done deal probably a month before it became public. If Mario turns down his Alma mater then we are in for a **** storm and the program is in even worse shape than we think and know. In 2 years we could be on top of the ACC. All these high profile coaching moves is about who can recruit and develop those players to championships.

Facts it's done imo

We wouldn't wait this long like dum azzes

Truth. I really hope we don't all get new socks and underwear this weekend. I don't think so, but anything is possible with this program...

So by that logic, he won't be coming here now then, because it's still a shît show

If Mario said yes then Manny would of been fired already in my opinion.

And then the media would be speculating that UM fired Diaz because Mario said yes, his players might suspect he's leaving, and it would be a huge distraction in preparing for the Pac12 championship game. My gut feeling is everything is in place for an announcement by Monday morning.

Lol... actually I could use some underwear (boxer briefs only). However, the U has had a string of ugly sweater surprises for way too long. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

The story is that when he got the Bama offer, he didn't want to disrespect UM and leave, so he went to talk with Jimmy Johnson. JJ told him that if he wanted to be a great coach, he needed to learn from a great coach. So it wasnt as simple as Cristobal leaving UM because it was a ****show. He left because he had been fired from FIU and he wanted to learn how to become a better coach, and one of the GOAT UM HCs recommended he take up Sabans offer.

If you want to say Mario is disloyal, then you also need to say Jimmy Johnson is disloyal. I doubt most people would do the latter.

Kiffin to Oregon?? I seriously doubt it.
