MEGA There’s Still Hope for the ACCCG/CFB Playoffs Mega Merge Thread

See lost to subpar weak teams we should have beaten we didn’t do that we deteriorated as season went on , we still aren’t firing on all cylinders were still clogged with unfocused penalties.

We do this at PITT , POP TART here we come.

Why we don’t see this is a mystery

I have a feeling that the 1st scenario will play out (duke and uva lose) and we play vs smu in charlotte. Will see …

Maybe by the skin of our teeth it goes our way getting to ACCCG and winning it.
We could really throw a wrench in the CFP by doing this.

If this happens, we should leave ACC ASAP !

Why do I feel like this is the week the ACC goes full ACC and the very last scenario happens. And we get left out over a rating score.

Tough to hang your hat on a 10 point dog, but this is the most realistic path with only 2 outcomes necessary.

Simple:
VT>UVA
NC St> UNC

Yes.
Puts us in the ranking tie-breaker, which should put us ahead.

We owe Stanford.
If they lost to Cal last week, Duke would have been in, in your scenario.

If we end up playing a ranked team in Charlotte and winning convincingly, we could end up top 8 and hosting a playoff game.

Would be the best case scenario and would require some other dominoes to fall our way but it could easily happen if we make the ACCCG.

We jump Utah this week
Bama loses SECCG
BYU loses B12CG
We jump ND and OU since we'd be 11-2 and conference champs with another ranked win while they'd both be sitting at home at 10-2.
