Would’ve been sick if we didn’t call 15 straight runs up the middle and would have beat ND by a couple scores. This conversation would be a lot different if the final score was 27-10
Fair points.It makes perfect sense.
If you look at each team ranked ahead of Miami, none of them have losses as double digit favorites to high school teams in a high school league.
Perception = reality.
Yet again, our Miami Hurricanes have only themselves to blame.
Honestly, that does seem too high so I may put $20 on the other side lmao. Vegas is forgetting to account for the committee inconsistency factorAnd ND is -4000 to make the playoff. If you wanna win $100, you have to lay 4 grand. Speaking of telling….
nobody wanted to hear that in September. Just a lot of hiding behind a W. Never mind they had ball in hand with the chance to win after being dominated much of the game on the field. Same with UF. Should have beat the brakes off them but they had ball in hand to take the lead in the 4th after being dominated on the field. Same with FSU, an onside kick from a chance to walk it off. Then **** ourselves in conference. Nobody to blame but ourselves.Would’ve been sick if we didn’t call 15 straight runs up the middle and would have beat ND by a couple scores. Oregon and UCLA. Need Oregon to take care of them.Siap
Seems some writers have USC above Miami
Where tf did they come from and what’s their schedule look like to end season?
That is wild. They give us no chance head to head if Miami is at ~12 and ND is at 10.
Honestly, that’s probably mispriced. I know they will almost certainly take ND over us, but -4000 is wild.
Auburn will get destroyed by bama
lol what brouhaha? FSU fans being upset doesn’t matter to anyone but FSU fans. Besides, FSU was an undefeated conference champ, we are neither of those things.Don’t think the committee will want another FSU bruhaha like last year so we’ll see. IF we can win out I'm optimistic.
Oh I remember. I was a “mope” who got told to be happy with winning and nothing else matters after every game that was closer than it needed to be. Well here we are and it turns out the mopes were right again.nobody wanted to hear that in September. Just a lot of hiding behind a W. Bama is 100% guaranteed to be in.
The other team will be Oklahoma or Vanderbilt.
To think any differently is to deny reality.
I don't think there's any way a 2-loss Vandy gets in over 2-loss Miami.
THIS IS A TV SHOW
it's why FSU got left out in 2023. Nobody wanted to watch them in there with their garbage backup QB.
People can talk about "SEC bias." That doesn't apply to Vandy. No one cares about them.
Never forget that this is a TV show.
The main teams we need to be concerned about are Bama and OU. One of them needs to lose another game.
Utah and BYU are far better than GT and UVA. They'd both be 7+ point favorites vs them. GT and UVA have been two of the luckiest teams in the country.Utah and BYU arent better than Georgia Tech,Miami,Virginia. My comment has nothing to do with Miami losing games. It’s just saying the Big 12 is the weakest power 4 conference
The ref show has been blatant and obvious in every close SEC game where a highly ranked team played a **** one. You’re out of your mind if you think this won’t be the most egregious. It’s gonna be the entire ESPN and SEC machine vs Auburn that night. It’ll take nothing less than an act of god for Auburn to win.TrumpyCane disagrees for a few reasons
1. Bama isn't that good
2. Auburn defense is nasty (Vandy game was a mirage)
3. It's in auburn where Bama has struggled mightily the last 4 times they've played, 2 wins by a combined 5 points and 2 losses
4. This is literally auburn's superbowl, they essentially have 3 weeks to prepare for this and they would love nothing but to knock them off
5. If Auburn wins Durkin gets that job
The distinction here is that Bama had way better wins than we did last year. The huge difference for us this year, which is why we're still firmly in the discussion, is that we have solid wins. Some of our fans still believe we would be in over a 2 loss Bama. Guess they forgot last year that a 3 loss Bama (with a terrible loss at OU near end of season) was going to be in over a 2 loss Miami if Clemson didn't beat SMU in the ACCCG.
