MEGA There’s Still Hope for the ACCCG/CFB Playoffs Mega Merge Thread

This is how we make the CFP. Lets hope Narduzzi meant what he said

Although i still think we should make it over ND if both 10-2.
Agreed. Let’s see if the committee means what they said on Tuesday. If we jump a Vandy or byu or Utah I will start to feel better

I really blame the ACC because they be so quiet about the obvious bias. We all sat here and watched Texas because of Archie Manning.

There was no one in the country who watched Texas played this season will have said they should have been ranked 10th
the nnly one was pete and he was dead wrong as usual

not worried about vandy, no way they get in over us if apples are apples and we handle business, they may lose to tennessee anyways

bama is IN unless they lose to auburn

Oklahoma is IN unless they lose to Missouri or LSU

that leaves Utah, BYU, and Us out

this will spur change because if ND gets into over us, it'll be the most egregious blatant disregard of what's supposed to matter in college football that's happened in a long time. Even with the FSU thing, they should have gotten in but that was an extenuating circumstance... this would be ignoring head to head and common opponent with no major injuries or dynamic shift and we'd have been on a roll for a month
I agree that if Notre Dame gets in and head to head matters until it comes to Miami.

We are 16th in SOR, guys. Take the tin foil hats off. We don't deserve a playoff spot, absent massive upset in other games.

We have a very easy path to the playoffs - one of the easiest in the country. All we have to do is win the ACC, the weakest power conference.

The SEC has its hands wrapped around ESPN and college football. They are going to get the most teams in the playoffs and ***** over teams in other conferences. Miami must leave the ACC immediately. I can’t stress it enough. ****, ACC may not even get a team in playoffs.

Miami screwed itself losing its games, unfortunately.

That would be the doomsday scenario and I agree - they'll play whatever mental gymnastics they have to keep ND in. I'm hoping you're right and change comes but I feel like the powers that be are happier being shamed about this scenario and letting it continue than to make substantive change.

I will disagree with this because why is certain teams punished for losing two games when it’s common across college football? As mentioned if you’re not a conference champion, you are a bubble team and we should use Fair selection tactics
Doesn’t matter if you don’t understand why a 2 loss ACC team isn’t getting an at large bid… it is what it is and we knew this going in.

That same guys CFP predictions are:

David Hale: 1. Ohio State 2. Indiana 3. Texas A&M 4. Georgia 5. Texas Tech 6. Ole Miss 7. Oklahoma 8. Miami 9. Alabama 10. Notre Dame 11. Oregon 12. James Madison

"Any competent coach can win the ACC at Miami."

Just win out and deal with the consequences. If we back in, let's go. If we don't, we did it to ourselves.

Don’t think the committee will want another FSU bruhaha like last year so we’ll see. IF we can win out I'm optimistic.
