MEGA There’s Still Hope for the ACCCG/CFB Playoffs Mega Merge Thread

We beat Notre Dame.
Alabama lost to FSU, which is by far the worst loss for a contender and a team we embarrassed.

Utah doesn't have a single good win to justify being ranked ahead of us.
Vanderbilt doesn't have a single good win to justify being ranked ahead of us.

ANYONE who thinks the committee would dare rank Miami ahead of their gods Alabama and Notre Dame, is delusion.

Got to respect the SEC for backing their league and the commissioner begging for more spots.

What is the AcC doing to push more teams in? Nothing? Miami has to get to the BIG as soon as possible .

The entire thing is rigged for the SEc right now with espn owning their rights and packaged deal
ND getting in over Miami should be the last straw for the ACC. When that happens they should immediately move to cancel the agreement giving ND 5-6 football games a year. And tell them you join or you’re out.

And we should 100% cancel the ND game next year. Pay the fine and refuse to play. If there are no positives that can come from it, why play it? You win and it means nothing. You lose and it hurts you. Cancel it.

Wait till Tuesday when A&M, UGA, Ole Miss, Bama, and OU are all ranked ahead of Miami.

We play no one good enough to jump Bama or OU if they win out.

That OU win yesterday critically wounded us. We’re not dead, but we’re on life support.
We will see. I get where you are coming from, but I disagree. The rankings don’t matter until all games are played. SMU got in over Alabama last year so it’s not crazy talk.

Do any of the playoff computers have odds broken down by: % chance Miami gets an at large bid and % chance Miami gets in as ACC champ?

Curious which one is higher as of now

SMU last year didn’t belong on the same field as anyone in the CFP. The committee won’t make that same mistake again.

There is also a lot of games left. I wouldn’t assume OU and Alabama win out. Bama hasn’t been good on the road under DeBoer. OU win yesterday with 200 yards of offense. Missouri and LSU aren’t easy wins. Lots of games left.

They asked for more dominance and Miami gave it to them beyond what they could have expected, especially for a team coming off a bye week who just dominated Georgia Tech and beat UVA. Miami has a massive ceiling, a top 5 defense and have not been blown out in 3 years. They are in the same pod as ND and have the head to head. No real debate. They should do it now and just say Miami beat ND head to head and if they win their last 4, especially the way they won the last 2, they are in over ND. The media should be all over it but they will not as it now seems more real and they will back track based on Miami hate and ND love.

1. Ohio State
2. Indiana
3. Texas A&M
4. Georgia
5. Texas Tech
6. Ole Miss
7. Oregon
8. OU
9. Bama (even though they lost to FSU)
10. Miami
11. ND
12. BYU
13. Utah
