The Work - Final Stretch

A top 10 class if all this holds. And that's a great class. Top 5, imo, is elite. But if we are a consistently great class, we will win. Go check out Clemsons classes before they hit an elite class. Very similar. This is our best class, potentially, since the '08 class

Would be a good but not great finish to the class, can't really complain. Overall this class has some ballas in it.

Good but not great finish?..... the fvck you smoking?

Jeff Thomas 4star
Chris Henderson 4star
Kai Leon Herbert 4star
Mike Harley 4star
Jhavontae dean 4star
Brian Edwards 3star
Within a span of a week?

That would be miamis strongest close in years

Missing on a couple of players keeps it from being a great close IMO.

Disagree. Only player we missed on was McFarland who we thought was in the bag. Smith on the other hand we always heard we was in it but still it was a long shot

McFarland was a huge miss for me so its hard for me to give the staff an A+ for closing. I can agree on smith even though many had thought he was also a silent after some of his tweets and the staffs confidence in landing him. Overall I would give the staff a B+ for the close and A- for the overall class.

Thomas and Henderson returning kicks in 2017 is exciting.

It would be ,but will CMR put them back there? We had Richards and Coley while Lewis and Berrios were the returners.
Couldn't risk the injury on ST's, didn't have enough depth last year... That's why Money Malc & Berry were the main returners for us.

Also, Berrios is literally the best Fair catcher in football lol As funny as that sounds, we never had to worry about a fumble with him.

Now going foward, I hope he's not the PR this season, because we need someone that can actually potentially score a TD to give us a PR threat, but he's good insurance to have just in case.

Thanks Pete. Any chance Smith could delay his decision on NSD and take an official visit to Miami due to the coach leaving? I seem to remember Smith being there at Paradise camp. Can someone confirm?

Not an elite class, but **** good and the first time we haven't limped to the finish line in a long long time. In the end OL, DB and WR were probably addressed if these predictions hold up.

Have to agree Berrios has good hands as a returner can't deny that. Lewis was so hard to watch just awful.

McFarland?? Yea pretty obvious. We got screwed. I guess here isn't much to say but a word on the position in general maybe

Stfu, quit trolling

Listen Golden slurper can you name a worse WR class than Harley and njoku ( if Thomas doesn't qualify)? That's what I thought. Everyone still hates you go order a steak burnt already.

2015 class was just Cager. That would be worse than this class. 2014 class was Berrios, Brady, and Langham so basically Berrios. Would have to think that is worse than this class also.

I guess we aren't expecting anymore from Richt then we did Golden,Shannon and Coker? We evaluated better , but closed terribly lost our 3 top WR targets. It's a horrible WR class without Thomas.

We lost our top 3 WR targets?

Jeudy,Holloman and Smith

If we finish like this. The staff hit it out of the park. Filled our weakest position needs. OL Wr and DB with top national Talent. One swing and miss is at RB. But **** someone thought Enough of burns that he was an UA all American. I agree with DMoney. Don't go out of state for a RB and keep recruiting all your targets until signing day. Staff thought the had MCFarland wrapped up with good reason. But really should have been recruiting 3 and take the first two to commit

Also, something people miss with Dean is that he was a KR/Punt Returner as well, both in HS & at Blinn.
That kid has LEGIT 4.3 speed...

And in addition to final commits we could close with on Wednesday, don't forget they'll always be Grad transfers available between now & August... A lot of names will pop up, so depth at nearly every spot should not be an issue at all.

We could literally bring in that Grad transfer Jeff Badet simply as a Return specialist, same situation with RB's or OL...

The point is, we'll have a ton of options this year.

Dean, Harley, Thomas and either Edwards (my preference) or Henderson and it's a good close imo (along with Herbert). Both Henderson and Edwards even better. Those not happy w/ the class were clearly hoping for a Saban/Meyer type of class this year but that was never in the cards imo. The names above give us a huge infusion of speed and athleticism...I'll be thrilled if it turns out that way.

If Thomas fails to qualify this would be the worst WR class in UM history.

Yes we expect more but you asked if we could name a worse WR class than this one IF Thomas doesn't get in so I named 2 just in the last 4 years. Not to mention they could put Dallas at WR in this class and that would make it even better.

Here is my question: Why focus on negative hypothetical situations instead of what is actually happening? I mean what if Perry decides to quit football or someone else suffers a injury finishing out basketball season?

If we finish the way Pete and everyone else thinks we will this will be one of the best classes in a long time. Enjoy it.

Good solid class if we finish with Henderson, Dean and Edwards, but solid classes don't win NC's.
