Just prayin that Grace and AQM are good to go by the FSU game
What's the deal with these two?
Just prayin that Grace and AQM are good to go by the FSU game
Pinckney at Will/Weak side LB & Grace at Sam/Strongside.Ahmmon Richards has the potential to be first team All-ACC as a Freshman. He'll probably even get more targets thrown his way considering most teams will put their #1 corner on Coley and only focus on him & Njoku in the scouting report. I think both Richards & Dayall will have a big year for us.
Pinckney at the Will & Grace on the Strongside is going to be huge for the Defense, gives us a lot of speed in containing the run plus tons of options in coverages.
Shaq at Mike will probably be a Defensive captain, that kid is a phenomenal talent & is the perfect fit to carry on the tradition of great MLB's at The U. I can't wait til he gets a clean shot at Dalvin Cook, hits him square in the chest plate & makes him cough that football up.
I actually think we're a lot better than we're being sold, Coaching is going to make all the difference in the world & with a much improved pass rush, the entire Defense is going to be elevated.
hahah, I kept reading that wondering what the **** was going on..
Are you aware of his actual stats?in kaaya 2 years with a joke of an oc he has almost exactly half of what Murray had in 4 years including bowl games... not sure why you can't stand for that comparison. In reality a far better comparison for Murray & someone closer to his talent level would be jacory harris. Lol

**Similarly, I’ve heard that safeties coach Ephraim Banda and cornerbacks coach Mike Rumph have a portion of practice where the safeties play cornerback and vice versa. The idea of that is they want to get everyone comfortable in situations covering a player-type that they maybe aren’t used to covering. For example, you ideally don’t want Jamal Carter matched up against a quick slot receiver – you’d rather him cover a tight end or running back. But in game situations, Carter may be forced to cover someone who motions out to the boundary. Banda and Rumph hope that eventually most of them are versatile enough to play in any spot depending on the situation.

Anybody else get the feeling like this is sorta what the old staff tried to do with the Offensive Line? Rotate them through different positions and tryin to teach them to be versatile... Not saying it's a bad idea, coaches know better than I do, but I just can't envision, like you said, someone like Jamal Carter covering a WR on the boundary, it's just not something I see in his tool box (as of right now).
Though, I guess this is more about exposing the defense to possible mismatches so there is a feel in the back of the DB's head where they know "we've done this in practice before I got this", kinda confidence booster. Instead of being like, "fck, didn't expect this to happen".
In 2012, UGA had one of the top ranked offenses in the country & Aaron Murray (I think) was the #1 rated QB that season.
Kaaya is light years better than Murray & even though Richt wasn't calling plays back then, we've seen that with a halfway decent QB he can produce a pretty potent offense.
Yeah...Kaaya better than Murray?? He hasn't shown that kind of ability....he hasn't proven it
Lol. Aaron Murray is the SEC's all time leading passer. Kaaya has a long ways to go before being mentioned in the same sentence as Murray, let alone being "light years ahead". My god.
You do realize how stupid that sounds don't you? Great he is the sec leader in career passing yards. Few things there champ #1 sec hasn't produced all that many great quarterbacks in the big picture. They've got there fair share but like Murray did how many of them started the whole time they were in college? Not many. He leads the sec because he started the entire time and was a decent quarterback for all of his years and actually good his senior year. But to say kaaya has a long way to go to be as good or better than him is crazy. He already has Murray in spades. Hence Aaron Murray's nfl career indicates. Lol
LOL. Why don't you actually speak in specifics instead of vague terms. Like tell me how Murray compares to the Manning brothers who also started all 4 years? Or the quarterbacks of Spurrier's fun n gun offenses. Or Jay Cutler who also started 4 years. Admittedly it's not the strongest conference for QB's, but they've had some of the best go through there.
Are we to compare them based on Aaron Murray's career? How did Ken Dorsey's NFL career go? Gino Torreta's?
For all of the talent Kaaya has, he is 10-12 against FBS opponents. There's nothing more common than an unsuccessful man with talent.

What part of the "this isn't a talent issue" are you not getting? I really hope Kaaya ends up having as strong of a college career as Murray did, but Kaaya needs to start willing his team to victories before we get to that point.

If you'd like a Dorsey comparison is the only one we could give you other than jacory harris because both of them played parts of their freshman seasons. Any other comparison wouldn't be too valid since he started four full seasons at Georgia. No quarterback other than possibly kaaya eventually will be able to say the same for us. I'm really beginning to think you're either a severe hypocrite or completely clueless as far as the things you keep stating. Again so we can make sure you comprehend, Aaron Murray not only played in every game of his career but he also started & was the only qb who played from his redshirt freshman year until he graduated... NONE OF THE QUARTERBACKS YOU MENTIONED EXCEPT JAY CUTLER (which is where the hypocrite thing comes in since he was God awful and played on a far less then mediocre Vandy team)started as the only quarterback from freshman year on. Manning brothers, our qbs,Spurrier's fun & gun QB's etc etc. All of them either started mid way through their freshman years or they shared duties with another qb. Aaron Murray never did that. Your own argument just proved exactly how mediocre of a quarterback murray actually was.kaaya is the only one other than Cutler out of all those QB's you mentioned that situation are exact. And Cutler definitely didn't win any games of merit. You mention what kaaya has won & that tells me the likelihood is youre not much of a football person. A qb can only be as good as his team. Hence Peyton Manning never beating floriduh,Jim Kelly & Marino never winning a super bowl. The facts is kaaya has been playing at a disadvantage by having alfraud & no dnofrito with such a role in play calling. Well know where the bar is set for kaaya as of this year because the staff is no longer a valid excuse.now please no more back & forth. Check facts & you'll realize you're simply wrong.

Painful to see how much you responded, even more painful to begin reading, and then the ultimately painful statement here. Jay Cutler was "God awful" at Vanderbilt? Argue with someone else, seriously.

Nah, never heard of him...try querying WEZ.Anyone know anything about this Shaq Quarterman kid? I'm hearing good things but don't remember his name being mentioned around here that much.
Think our offense is gonna look like Stanford's during the Luck-era. I can live w that.

Kaaya can't catch the ball after he throws it. a lot of drops in crucial situations and a lot of play-calling down and distance issues that exposed our poor O-line play.
post is pure nonsense. You must not understand the game.
