The Work 12-1

i thought artie is suppose to be a lockdown cover guy? why move him to safety?

Great work Pete! I personally think we land Cook, only because he seemed real down when Yearby got injured and was sad thinking that their high school careers will end like that...and he claims that Yearby is his brother/ close friend and loves playing with him....also I think he wants to really see how bad the Staff n Golden want him...cause he signs with UM, he immediately becomes KR/ backup running back..with Yearby redshirting, Crawford back to mainly SP duty with occasional Carries, and Gus Edwards moving to FB...just my opinion

He is not basing his college choice off of his HS teammates injury. Why would Cook want to continue to compete with Yearby anyway? Take the easy route like Collins, start as a freshman, have an awful record and bolt after junior year.

Gunter to safety makes the most sense. Gunter, Jenkins and Carter make a better rotation that we have this year. At CB, Burns, Howard, Crawford make a good rotation.

Gunter to safety would make sense, but wouldn't fix our long term problem at the position. However, to sign a safety or two this cycle would change this status (3 scholly safeties on the roster next year)

predicted class finish:

Cook
Michel
Hester
Dixon
K. Young
JC Jackson
Claude Pelon

I don't understand USC's optimism with Kaaya when they don't even have a coach. Every guy currently on staff could be shown the door.

I have always felt that we had a better chance with Sony then Cook. When we start talking about talking to Grandmothers and Mama's oh and girlfriends I say this kid is probably heading North. We were lucky with Howard but (see 6 and Keef).

Sorry I have been out of the loop on this cycle. Always appreciate the work y'all put in just curious on some of the other needs in this class

No site does "WORK" like PETE...AWESOME WRITE UP...I expect recruiting to go bananas in December...

Mayers will be a safety. So there will be at least 4 scholarship safeties on the roster. I would love to see one more true safety added and also Hope moved to safety.

I didn't say he is basing it off his teammates injury, I think it will play a small part cause he realizes how much he loves playin with him...I knw but we get the final visit so om pretty sure Coley, Hurlie Brown, and Coach Golden will roll out the red carpet from his doorstep, down I-95, Down US1 and right into the Campus...lol

That's it? That's all the updates we get? God**** it, sometimes I wonder why I pay for a subscription to this site.

Appreciate the info Pete. I really hope we can come away with one of Sony or Cook. I feel like Cook is the better talent but Sony fits our offense better. Win-win either way, both are special.

That's it? No Fournette or Scarbrough is a failure by this staff.

///Sarcasm.

If we got 4 or 5 off that list I'd be pretty **** excited. Of course I'm sure people would still b*tch.

What on earth makes you think Yearby would be redshirting? He's our #2 back the day he steps on campus.

I think cooks sign with us because of his coach thats at USF... I remember reading somebody on here posting that when he left he told both cook and yearby they would do better in college if they played together i think he'll take the advice and they'll be UM's version of Cadillac Williams and Ronny Brown with Steve Slaton and Noel Devine speed
