The TE Position

But he prob doesn’t block like a LT or some dumb *** reason so that’s why he doesn’t play. If UGA had a TE that talented he’d be a featured part of the offense
facts

All I had to see was one play to know that man is better than the guys ahead of him but they were here first. He is going to be a game breaker next year though (HOPEFULLY)

I hope its not another Lamar Miller type deal where he breaks out one year then goes to the NFL

Mario and Beck both said Lofton ran the wrong route on that game-clinching interception. Anyone know what he did versus what he was supposed to do? Presumably because Louisville was showing pressure he needed to flatten the route?

Nothing inspires team building & camaraderie like throwing of a teammate or player under the bus.

Interesting to remember Beck came from a system that heavily emphasizes the TE.
Hmm im not sure about that. I think Beck came from a system that happened to have one of the best college tight ends ever. I'd be interested to see the tight end production from Todd Monken without Brock Bowers over his career. If we had Brock Bowers I garuntee you we'd be throwing him the ball a ton

Bowers is clearly an uber talent, but Georgia has long heavily incorporated the TE. Turn on the Ole Miss game & will see TE use.

Two of the three years Dawson has been here we haven't bothered to use the tight end. I believe if cam wasn't here last year it would be all 3 years

At the top of his drop there is already 5 DBs back there. He hitches and then the pressure comes

Rewatching it… if Beck gets a chance to step into that throw it might’ve been a TD. As Evans watching the QB and was in position to let CJ behind him. But Beck sidearmed it with awkward footwork and threw it way too short so it went straight to Evans, but I think could’ve been beat over the top had McCoy blocked someone instead of flailing on the ground.

Early in the 4th QT today, Georgia TEs have 9 receptions & 3 TDs vs. Ole Miss.
